By Applying the CEDAW Convention and Amending the Personal Status Law
The Council of Ministers of the Palestinian Authority (PA) decided in its session on Monday, 21/10/2019, to assign the President of the Palestinian Authority to amend Article 5 of the Personal Status Law on the age of marriage to become 18 solar years for both genders, and this decision awaits the signature of the President of the Authority to become law.
It is naive to expect Democracy to guarantee justice, denying unjust privilege to power elites, when its essence is compromise. The release from prison of convicted former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, whilst granting him permission to fly abroad for treatment, is a clear case of Democracy’s protection of the power elite. Any who naively believed the rulers’ loud claims of “no NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance)” for the corrupt power elite, can now feel the sting of their folly. Thus, Democracy grants the corrupt power elite get-out-of-jail-free cards, whilst many common prisoners die in jail through illness, some just awaiting trial without any conviction for years. Unlike the power elite, they are not satisfied to have their case disposed of within a single day, let alone being granted the privilege of treatment abroad, with a flimsy, loop-hole ridden, paper promise to return.
The 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of Communism saw much soul searching as the victory of capitalism has been very hollow as it struggled for legitimacy today. Democracy is in crisis, the free market is failing as far as most are concerned and authoritarianism is on the rise.

A part of elections is representation (tawkeel). It is a style employed to elect individuals, who have the capacity of representation and authorization. The ruling of ibahah (allowance) applies to such elections as one of the mubah styles. However, its ruling, when it is linked to a work, is the same ruling of that work. The style of election is not a new practice. In the bai’ah (pledge) of Al-Aqabah, the Messenger ﷺ said to al-Aws and al- Khazraj, as it came in the seerah of Ibn Hisham: “Select for me from amongst you twelve chiefs, who will be responsible for their people, including themselves…” This means he asked them to select and elect their representatives.
On 2 November 2019, the BBC reported that nine children were killed whilst they walked to school in Afghanistan. The 8 boys and 1 girl were aged between seven and ten years old and suffered a horrific death as they were blown up by a land mine that was deliberately planted.
Surely, the status of the Ash-Sham revolution that it has reached recently does not match the great sacrifices that it has offered, for its path has changed drastically; and this is only as a result of the liaison of the faction leaders with the supporting countries that have flooded the revolution with dirty political money in their attempt to corrupt it. Even though in our released issues and demonstrations we repeatedly warned of that matter, however many of those who were deceived were not convinced of what we were proclaiming about!!
The crimes of the Jewish entity against the Blessed Land and its people have never stopped as the Blessed Land is ravaged with their crimes, day and night, in al-Aqsa Mosque, in Gaza, on the checkpoints, killing, arresting, demolishing houses, confiscating land and desecrating the sanctities. The assassination of martyr Bahaa Abu al-Atta in Gaza was preceded with the assassination of Martyr Omar al-Badawi from al-Aroub Refugee Camp by one day, and before him, thousands of people of Palestine were killed. The killing and destruction machine continues, and the assassination teams roam the Muslim countries, killing our sons in Damascus, Beirut, Amman, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, and killing with them thousands of martyrs from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. And what is happening now in Gaza is not much different from what happened in 2014, 2012, 2008, 2006, 2002, 1982, 1967 or 1948 … and the list goes on, and the crimes of the occupation are non-stop around the clock but rather every second.
The NY Times has published leaked government documents revealing how Chinese leader, Xi Jinping said “show absolutely no mercy” in the detention of millions of Muslims who are held in concentration camps in East Turkestan and forced to renounce their religion.
Democracy in Pakistan has failed for years to secure clean and safe air to breathe, both indoors and outdoors, confirming that it must be abolished and replaced by ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed. After weeks of hospitals being drowned by the large number of chest and heart patients who had fallen ill through breathing in polluted air, the education department of Pakistan’s Punjab province finally decided to take the token measure to close all schools in Lahore, Gujranwala and Faisalabad on 15 and 16 November 2019, due to poor air quality, even though the children will be breathing in the same toxic air in their homes, which is often polluted at a higher level than outside the home. For decades, Democracy has failed to address the growing crisis of air pollution that has now exploded into a public health emergency. As for the current regime, it has been in power for full fifteen months and has only now taken ineffective token measures after public outrage.
On the 12th of November, President Donald Trump gave a revealing speech at the Economic Club of New York. “When I meet with the leaders of countries as they come in — kings and queens and prime ministers and presidents and dictators, I meet ’em all,” he said. He made it clear that US relations are based upon his interpretation of national interest, and not the principles of freedom, when he said: “Anybody wants to come in. Dictators? It’s OK. Come on in. Whatever’s good for the United States. We want to help our people,”
Today (Friday, 11/15/2019) after Jummah, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Bangladesh organized demonstrations and marches at various mosques in Dhaka and Chittagong protesting the Indian Hindutva aggression in replacing the Babri Mosque with “Ram Temple” and the submissiveness of the Hasina regime in the face of this aggression. The demonstrations started in front of the mosques and ended after marching at various roads of the cities. The mosque-goers expressed support for the demonstrations and chanted slogans expressing anger and fury against the Indian Hindutva aggression and submissiveness of the Hasina Regime in the face of this aggression.
The Tanzania’s Supreme Court of Appeal upholds 2016 ruling barring marriage before 18, by which girls under 18 years marriage is now illegal in the country following a legal challenge by child and women advocacy organization.
The Bajwa-Imran regime’s gaudy self-praise over economic recovery is adding salt to the injuries of the peoples, with the IMF approved Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance’s delusional claim that tomatoes are available at Rs. 17/kg, when they were being sold at Rs. 300/kg, becoming the subject of public ridicule. Fundamentally, it is Democracy that is out of touch with the people, not just those who rule by it. Democracy does not regard economic recovery as the guaranteeing of the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter for every member of the society. Instead, Democracy considers the achievement of IMF dictated macro-economic targets as economic recovery, even though these targets rob the people and choke the economy through heavy taxation, whilst granting colonialist companies huge tax breaks and filling the coffers of the colonialist financial institutions through back breaking interest payments.

In the book At-Tafkeer Al-Islami, which is one of the adopted books, it mentions that supplication (du’aa) does not turn back the Divine Destiny (qadar) and does not change the Divine fate (qadaa’) or the knowledge of Allah (swt)). However there are texts from the Qur’an and the Sunnah that seem to me to contradict this understanding; it has been narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: «لَا يَرُدُّ الْقَضَاءَ إِلَّا الدُّعَاءُ» “Nothing turns back the Divine Fate (qada) except supplication.”

Drowning Our People in Economic Misery to Fill the Pockets of Colonialist Vultures is not Economic Turnaround
Economic turnaround is import substitution, not imposing high tariff on imports and raising the cost of raw materials, thereby choking local manufacturing.
The Supreme Court of India gave its final verdict on 09 November 2019 on the lawsuit, commonly known as Babri Masjid Issue or Ayodhya Issue. The suit, that ran for decades, was the for the ultimate possession of 2.77 acres where once a 450 year old masjid stood. The dispute was the claim by Hindus that Babri Masjid was built on the very place, in Ayodhya (known Oudh in history), where the Hindu deity Ram was born (some 900,000 years ago). The unanimous verdict by the 5 bench Supreme court ruled that Hindus will be given full possession of 2.77 acres to construct a Ram Temple and Muslims will be compensated with a 5 acre vacant land nearby for the construction of a masjid.
Now there is talk of a general election on every politician’s lips. With the country currently so divided, important decisions that make or break real people’s lives are being pushed to the rear to make way for the single issue that dominates all politics today in Britain: that of Europe.
In May this year, the Swedish Intelligence Service arrested six Muslims, including four imams, who were held in custody by the Swedish Immigration Service under the Special Aliens Inspection Act, on the grounds that they posed a threat to the security of the Kingdom of Sweden. The High Court of Immigration issued its decision at the beginning of summer to expel the six Muslims. The government received the file at the end of summer after the six Muslims appealed, but its decision was issued at the end of October to expel all of them from Sweden. The six Muslims were then released within a week of the government’s decision because the expulsion was not currently enforced.
The security forces of the regime in Jordan arrested two members of Hizb ut Tahrir in devious and barbaric ways that are unworthy of the human rights that the regime in Jordan is praising. Not to mention the arrest of the carriers of the call to Allah, the pure and pious, and we do not ascribe purity to anyone before Allah (swt), who are sincere to their Ummah by calling it to the resumption of the Islamic way of life.
People have been preoccupied with the statement of the Minister of Finance, Ibrahim al-Badawi, who told Reuters that “Sudan needs up to $ 5 billion to support the budget to avoid an economic collapse”, and who previously had stated that the budget of 2020 will be funded by Sudan’s friends. Since Ibrahim Al-Badawi became a minister, he is in a constant gasping and striving to bring a riba-based loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). To address the critical reality experienced by Sudan economically, this minister has already launched an emergency program of 200 days as the first phase of his three-phase program, which consists of five themes, most notably macroeconomic stabilization, budget restructuring, and easing the cost of living burden.

Can you please explain this Hadith to me, because I have some confusion, which was not cleared after I reviewed the sayings of the Scholars: قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ سَمِعَ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ فَقَدْتُ آيَةً مِنْ الْأَحْزَابِ حِينَ نَسَخْنَا الْمُصْحَفَ قَدْ كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ بِهَا فَالْتَمَسْنَاهَا فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مَعَ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ، فَأَلْحَقْنَاهَا فِي سُورَتِهَا فِي الْمُصْحَف “Ibn Shihab said and Kharijah ibn Zaid Ibn Thabit that he heard Zaid bin Thabit say, “A verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur’an and I used to hear Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzayma bin Thabit Al-Ansari, and we added it to its Sura in the Mushaf. (That Verse was): “Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.” [Al-Ahzab: 23]”
Today, 9 November 2019, the Bajwa-Imran regime, the internal facilitator of the Akhand Bharat (“Greater India”) plan, prostrated to yet another Indian demand, as envisioned by Manmohan Singh in 2007 when he declared, “I dream of a day…. one can have breakfast in Amritsar, lunch in Lahore and dinner in Kabul.” The rulers of Pakistan are granting concessions to create a soft border with India, in order to fulfill the American plan to ensure that Hindu State can project its regional hegemony right into Central Asia.
Recently, French President Emmanuel Macron made a stunning statement to The Economist in which he professed, “What we are currently experiencing is the brain death of NATO.” Additionally, Macron attributed the US deserting Europe as the sole reason for the current state of affairs. [1] This obviously raises the possibility whether NATO has a viable future or not.
On Wednesday 6/11/2019 after Asr prayer, the youth of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan, conducted at Al-Abyad city in Northern Kordofan province, a peaceful demonstration that took off from Al-Jami Al-Kabeer Mosque till Siwar Athahab Mosque chanting that Islam is being attacked, and declaring the absolute refusal of all the conventions that are not in accordance to Islamic ruling for example the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and the likes, from changing the rulings of the Lord of the worlds, equality between the two genders, a man and a woman, and the refusal of the deviated ideas e.g. secularism and the likes.
O Muslims in the Land of ‘Uqbah bin Nafe’:
Every year, you renew the anniversary of the birth of your Prophet ﷺ, declaring joy and showing happiness and pride in being part of the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, most of the rulings of Islam that your Prophet ﷺ brought to you are disrupted today, they were disrupted by a group that professionalized politics and rejected the rulings of Islam, they said: “Tunisia is a civil state and the Qur’an has nothing to do with legislation”, كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِباً “It is a monstrous assertion that comes out of their mouths: what they say is nothing but lies.” [Al-Kahf :5]. They claimed Tunisia a secular democratic state, making it (secularism) their sacred religion that is untouchable. They also accepted the colonizer Kafir’s hegemony, saying: “We must have our Western friends to help us”, so they established for them a miserable constitution (like a calf that gives away a lowing sound) to keep them busy while drowning them in deadly debts, thus the land was lost, and the hearts became perplexed looking for exit!!
