Quetta Bomb Blast and Massacre Only Benefits the Regime’s Continuing Suppression of the Voices of Islam

On Monday, 8th August 2016, at least 74 people were killed in the Quetta bomb blast which took place inside a hospital. Most of the deceased were lawyers who were there to receive the body of their fellow lawyer who was shot dead the same day. It was not surprising that two shadow organizations, Jamaat ul-Ahraar, a splinter of Pakistani Taliban, and a cell of Daish in Afghanistan, claimed responsibility for this brutal attack. It is well known that such attacks are the outcome of the US policy of black operations, by its private military and intelligence, which have easily infiltrated the loose tribal networks and organizations. Such attacks fall under the ambit of false flag attacks to add impetus to the US plans for Pakistan. Soon after this brutal attack, the political and military leadership gathered and discussed progress on National Action Plan. After this meeting they announced that anti-terror laws will be made even harsher, laws which are being used to suppress any opposition to the US interests.

After the attack on the Peshawar Army Public School on 16th December 2014, the regime introduced the Protection of Pakistan Act (POPA) under which the accused cannot get bail and military courts can try “terrorists”. Thousands of people were arrested across Pakistan under the POPA, accused of spreading “hate speech” or “extremist” material, and thousands languish in prisons without progress in their trial or sentencing, denying the basic tenets of justice. It has been obvious that the Raheel-Nawaz regime has been using these brutal attacks and killing of people to introduce draconian laws to suppress the voices for Islam which demand implementation of Islam and establishment of Khilafah, as well as those who fight against American and Indian forces in Afghanistan and Indian occupied Kashmir respectively. And this is why on 1 December 2009, US President Obama pointedly declared, “There have been those who have said fighting against extremism is not their fight… as innocents have been killed from Karachi to Islamabad, it has become clear that it is the Pakistani people who are the most endangered by extremism.”

The POPA expired on 16th July 2016 and within the coming few months the military courts are supposed to come to an end as well. When POPA and military courts were introduced, the regime calmed down the strong opposition by restricting these measures for only two years. So it is obvious that regime is going to exploit this tragic incident to ensure extension of POPA and military courts. It also shows that so far under the National Action Plan, the regime has not been successful in eliminating the voices for Islam nor compelling Muslims in general to accept secular way of life, despite brutal oppression. Therefore, the regime exploits this tragic incident to continue implementation of the National Action Plan which is indeed an American Action Plan.

It is as if the Muslims of Pakistan are being asked to abandon Islam so that the US “terrorist” network will stop its bloody black operations. However, this will never be the case as the Muslims of this region lived under Islam for centuries and have given great sacrifices for its cause. The permanent solution to this menace is that the Muslims demand implementation of Islam, sacrificing everything for this noble project, whilst the sincere amongst the armed forces of Pakistan give Nussrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir for the re-establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Only then will a Khaleefah Rashid tear up the alliance with the US and eradicate the American presence from this region, eliminating the very apparatus that is being used for destabilization and destruction.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

“You who have iman! do not take My enemy and your enemy as friends, showing love for them when they have rejected the truth that has come to you.”

(Mumtahina 60:1)
