We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan are pleased to congratulate the people of Sudan and the Islamic Ummah as a whole, on the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of fasting and Qiyam in which the Quran was revealed.
Allah (swt) says:
(شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ)
“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion [between right and wrong]” [Al-Baqarah: 185].
The month of Ramadan, in which the Islamic Ummah drew the most remarkable examples. Wherein the Battle of Badr was in the year 2 AH, the conquest of Makkah in 8 AH, the battle of Al-Buwaib in 13 AH, the opening of Al-Andalus 92 AH, the conquest of ‘Amouriyah, 223 AH, the Battle of Ain Jaloot in 658 AH and others. All these great conquests in this blessed month confirm that the month Ramadan for the early Muslims was not a month of laziness, sleep and idleness, but a month of work and a call for change on the basis of Islam and confirm that the meaning of happiness for the Muslim is the attainment of Allah’s pleasure, even if it leads to hunger, thirst, refrainment from all desires and enduring hardships. Yes, this is the truth of the month of Ramadan, thus, the early Muslims resorted to benefit the most from this Holy month, so, they prepared themselves and raced in good deeds and hastened to acts of obedience; hence, they achieved the greatest conquests and victories.
When we remind the Ummah of its bright past, we do not want to stand at the mere reminder, but we want the Ummah to carry out the actions of the honorable Companions and Tabi’een, so Allah (swt) was pleased with them and they were pleased by Him, and they lived dignified by their Deen in well-being and prosperous life, and this can only be by working hard with Hizb ut Tahrir to resume Islamic way life by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.
To congratulate for the blessed month of Ramadan and remind the Muslims of their vital issue, the Hizb hanged dozens of banners which state: “Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan congratulates you for the blessed month of Ramadan and invites you to work with it to establish the Khilafah so that Ramadan returns to be a month of conquests and victories”. “Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan congratulates you for the blessed month of Ramadan and invites you to work with it so that the legacy of the Prophecy returns; one Islamic nation in its fasting and breaking fast, and in its war and peace”.
The Hizb placed these banners in public places, at the entrances and exits of the capital, and 18 other cities. The Hizb also continues its work of lectures, speeches, and others, in a lively dialogue with the sons of the Ummah.
We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala to grant us victory and empowerment by establishing the second righteous Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood. He is the guardian of that and Capable of it.
