Modi Wins Landslide by inciting Hindus against Muslims

The biggest election in history has just been won by one man: Narendra Modi. Mr Modi has become the first Indian prime minister since 1971 to secure a single-party majority twice in a row. In 2014 the Bharatiya Janata party won an absolute majority in the lower house of parliament for the first time in its history after the Congress party’s appeal vanished in a haze of corruption. Despite a spluttering economy five years later, Mr Modi seems certain to have expanded his parliamentary majority. This is bad news for India and the world.
The BJP is the political wing of Hindu nationalism, a movement that is changing India for the worse. Little wonder, as it stands for the flagrant social dominance of the upper castes of Hindu society, pro-corporate economic growth, cultural conservatism, intensified misogyny, and a firm grip on the instruments of state power. The landslide win for Mr Modi will see India’s soul lost to a dark politics – one that views almost all 195 million Indian Muslims as second-class citizens.
On the campaign trail Muslims were denigrated as “termites” by Mr Modi’s right-hand man. Off it, they were lynched with apparent impunity. Despite their number, Muslims are political orphans, shunned by a political class fearful of losing support from the majority Hindu population. Before the election Muslims held just 24 seats in parliament, about 4% of the total, and the fewest the community has held since 1952. This is likely to shrink further.
India prospered for seven centuries under Islamic rule; India, like other Muslim lands, enjoyed exemplary harmony between peoples of different faiths. The seeds of Hindu nationalism were planted by the imperialist British, who remained threatened by Muslim leadership even after deposing the last Mughal ruler. The British even went as far as inventing the concept of a singular Hindu religion, whereas previously the ‘Hindu’ was simply someone from India, no matter what his faith. However, it is the system of democracy that has taken the polarisation of Indian politics to the next level. Hindu politicians such as Narendra Modi have realised that they can win comfortably majorities by inciting hatred in the Hindu masses against the Muslim minority, unconcerned with how dangerous this is for society. But polarisation does not stop here, as each politician cultivates his own personal political base, no matter how marginal the segment of society that he appeals to. The democratic system is particularly disastrous for current or former Muslim lands because of the incredible diversity of peoples present within them, unlike, for example, European countries where almost everyone would be from the same racial and religious background.
Only Islam has the ability to truly unify different peoples under a single system of rule in justice, peace and harmony. With Allah’s permission, India shall be ruled by Islam again.

Fearful of War, Trump Hastens Arms Sales to Muslim Countries to counter Iran
According to the BBC:
US President Donald Trump is clearing the sale of billions of dollars’ worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, citing Iranian threats to its arch rival.
Mr Trump invoked a rarely used aspect of federal law to push through the $8bn (£6bn) deal, which would ordinarily need to be approved by Congress.
He did so by declaring that ongoing tensions with Iran amounted to a national emergency. The move has angered those who fear the weapons may be used against civilians. Some Democrats have also accused the president of bypassing Congress because the sale of weapons, including precision-guided munitions and other forms of bombs, would have been strongly opposed on Capitol Hill.
Weapons will also reportedly be sold to the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
On Friday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo notified Congress of the administration’s decision to make the sale. In a letter, widely reported in US media, he said that “Iranian malign activity” required the “immediate sale” of weapons.
“[Iran’s] activity poses a fundamental threat to the stability of the Middle East and to American security at home and abroad,” he wrote.
He said the transfers “must occur as quickly as possible in order to deter further Iranian adventurism in the Gulf and throughout the Middle East”.
America has learnt its lessons in the disasters of Afghanistan and Iraq – it is incapable of fighting on the ground against Muslims on Muslim land. So when America faced the Syrian revolution, it decided not to use its own military forces on the ground but to depend on the forces of Iran. But now that America sees that the revolution is over, it wants Iran to leave the region. And in order to do this, America is now arming Arab states to counter Iran.
America is the world’s superpower, with unparalleled military strength but even a superpower does not have the ability to project its power everywhere in the world and still ensure it has military superiority. In particular, foreign powers know that it is impossible to fight Muslims directly, and this is why they have always tried to use agent rulers to control Muslims, or manipulate other Muslims into fighting against them.
With Allah’s permission, the world shall soon witness the re-established righteous Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet ﷺ implementing Islam, liberating and unifying all Muslim lands and elevating the Muslim Ummah to become the foremost power on this planet bringing peace, justice and harmony to all mankind.
Britain’s Prime Minister May Announces Resignation over Brexit

Theresa May has announced her resignation after weeks of deadlock and chaos surrounding several failed attempts to push her European Union Withdrawal Agreement through parliament.
On Friday morning, May announced she would step down as Conservative leader on June 7. She will stay on as prime minister of the United Kingdom until her successor is chosen, May added.
The move came after a meeting with the chairman of the influential 1922 Committee of her Conservative party backbenchers, which last week had forced her to say she would announce her departure date in June.
In the end, May couldn’t hold on until June.
“I have done my best to implement the result of the referendum,” she said outside 10 Downing Street, which has been her home since shortly after the UK voted by a narrow margin to leave the EU.
“I have done everything I can to convince MPs to back my deal,” May added.
“It is a matter of deep regret that I have not delivered Brexit. My successor must find consensus in parliament.”
May is the fourth successive Tory Prime Minister to be brought down by division over Europe. May is a victim of Britain’s attempt to associate with Europe without becoming part of it, as envisioned by Prime Minister Winston Churchill in 1952: “We are not members of the European Defence Community, nor do we intend to be merged in a Federal European system. We feel we have a special relation to both. This can be expressed by prepositions, by the preposition ‘with’ but not ‘of’ — we are with them, but not of them.” In the end, this was all just too confusing for the Tory party itself (and the British establishment behind it), a considerable section of which fears Britain’s identity being subsumed within Europe.
While Islam honours tribes and nations, it does not allow its politics to be based on them. The Khilafah ruling system produces a unitary state in which all are equally citizens and in which politicians work for the benefit of all. Political parties based on nationalistic, racial, ethnic, or sectarian lines are prohibited. This is the reason that Muslim lands were outstanding in the diversity of their peoples. Only Islam is truly capable of unifying the entire of mankind in peace, justice and harmony.
