US on IS: No Change on the Strategy, Rather Change of the Method

News:

9th June 2015: We do not yet have a complete strategy against IS (Source: Associated Press)

At a press conference following the G7 Summit in the Bavarian village Krün, President Barack Obama admitted that the US does not have a complete strategy for countering the Islamic State terror group.

“When a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people,” Obama said. “We don’t yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis as well.”

Comment:

While IS is getting more and more control in Syria, Iraq and Libya, no one can believe that the “superpower” has no complete strategy against it.  The airstrikes and the commando raid last month in Eastern Syria that killed the IS leader shows that the U.S. intelligence has all the information and ability to execute when it is needed. The news media coverage and propaganda of the negative image of Islam by IS spreads every day.

The means of IS existence and the Middle East strategy are still the same for U.S. which is to create a common enemy to the world and for the Muslims to fight against each other. It would rather the method need to be changed for in order to keep control of Muslim land and achieve the objective. It is under Obama administration that is using local state government armies instead to fight against the “terror” which differs from the Bush administration.

As Muslims we must realize the sole objective for the U.S. and allies still remained the same and whatever their plan is, Allah is the great planner.

وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ

“And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.”
