Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaaha Illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Wa Lillahil Hamd
It is pleasing to us in Hizb ut Tahrir, the Wilayah of Turkey, to congratulate the Islamic Ummah in general and our brothers in Turkey with the warmest of congratulations upon the arrival of the blessed Eid ul-Adha. All thanks and praise belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى who has allowed us to witness Eid and bestowed brotherhood upon us…
O Muslims! Verily Islam is the only basis upon which these days are based upon in which our greatest need within them is for unity, standing shoulder to shoulder and for brotherhood. It is the Islam which made brothers between all of us; the Turk, Kurd, Arab, non-Arab, Laaz and Circassian. No regard is given to the colour whether this is black or white. This is Islam that has made the properties and lives of each other Haram upon others. It is Islam that has commanded us with mercy, compassion and helping at the time of need and hardship. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
«المُسْلِمُ أَخُو المُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يُسَلِّمُهُ»
“The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim, he does not oppress him and he does not hand him to others.” (Agreed upon)
Our brothers! Verily the Eids are happy days which Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla has bestowed upon His servants. These are the select days in which the Du’aa is most accepted and the keeping of relations. Happiness is brought to the children and elderly who are in most need of mercy and the days of Eid are the specific days in which those who have quarrelled reconcile, mend their differences and end their quarrels and bind their bond of brotherhood with one another. So All praise belongs to Allah who has bestowed these days of Eid upon us and made us love one another.
O Muslims! Verily the Haqq (truth) draws the people close which is opposite to the Baatil (falsehood) which drives them apart. Imaan unites the hearts and bodies whilst Kufr divides them. As such, in these blessed days, whilst our hearts are burning and the lowly Jews are attacking our sacred sanctities, it is necessary for us to return to Islam and its rulings once again. Through that the fires of Fitnah that are striving to divide us and corrupt our old bonds of friendship will be put out. Similarly by this path alone the refugees who are undertaking voyages of death will be able to attain what they seek in terms of living a dignified human life. This is also the only way to liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa Al-Mubaarak and all the land that surrounds from its captivity and then the honour and might of the Muslims that they had in the past will return to the Muslims. So let us all go forth to adhere and commit to Islam and the Islamic rulings which is the only salvation and escape for the Muslims. So let us all struggle together to restore the Islamic life once again. Let us expose the colonial disbelievers and those who are loyal to them from amongst the traitor rulers who are the reason for our current condition and situation and let us particularly expose those thoughts that have been inserted like nationalism, democracy and secularism.
O Brother Muslims! To realise this promising future that is filled with tranquillity and a dignified life with a glorious history it is sufficient to follow the steps of our forefathers! We have not ever seen except that they trod Islamic steps. And we will see that the strength of the Muslims and their unifying under one roof returns to the Islamic Khilafah. So let is hurry and proceed upon the steps of ‘Uqbah Bin Naafi’ who made his horse cross the sea for the sake of spreading Islam to what lay on the other side of the ocean, the steps of Salaah ud-Deen Al-Ayoobi who purified Bait ul-Maqdis from the crusaders, the steps of Muhammad Al-Faatih who defeated the Byzantines and the steps of Sheikh Sa’eed who began the Islamic revolution and not nationalistic one against the abolition of the Khilafah. Come and work with us upon the straight path! Let us work together to establish the Islamic Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood once again.
