The Secular Regime in Kenya has Failed to Provide Security to Muslims and Christians Alike

Once again Kenyans have been shocked by another massacre in Mandera County which has led to the loss of 36 innocent lives. The Killings come barely after ten days when 28 bus passengers were killed. We in the Islamic Organization Hizb ut Tahrir East Africa wish to make the following points:

We condemn in the strongest terms this ambush against innocent people. We are even condemning the apparent Government’s failure to contain security of its citizens. While we condemn this blood spills we would like to warn the security stake holders not to take this incident as a move towards victimizing Muslims.

It appears the military action taken by Kenya in Somalia three years ago has led to the deterioration of security in the country. This being quite contrary to the Government’s claims that its military presence in Somali was meant to preserve security of its citizens. We in Hizb feel that the action was taken under the foreign western influence particularly from Britain and America. For any state that claims to be sovereign and enjoying full autonomy does neither succumb nor bow before any foreign pressure. The foreign policies of these two capitalist states, are worse and axis of all the chaos and bloodshed being witnessed globally especially in the Islamic countries. The deterioration of security both to Muslims and Non Muslims is broadly witnessed due to the fact that they live under secular based regimes that care little for the security of their citizens. Under these regimes, safety of the leaders is taken with full force with that of the common man being undermined and turned into political gain and a blame game among the politicians.

Under the ruling system of the Khilafah State, the Christians and people of other religious denominations are termed as dhimmi [protectorates] where their properties, blood, believes and honors are highly protected. This is because the Khilafah is not a Muslims state only but an all inclusive state to all human beings.

“Beware, if anyone wrongs a contracting man, or diminishes his right, or forces him to work beyond his capacity, or takes from him anything without his consent, I shall plead for him on the Day of Judgment.” [Abu Dawud]

It is because of this crystal perspective view of the Islamic teachings that led non-Muslims in the Sham who witnessed the sublime beauty of the Islamic teachings to fight along the Muslims against the crusaders when they invaded the Islamic State.
