On 17 October 2023, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during the 260th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, said, that the Palestinian people have “unequivocal diplomatic, moral, and political support of the Pakistani nation.”
Comment:
The Muslims of Pakistan were eagerly waiting the jaw-breaking response of their armed forces, since the Zionist siege of Gaza and its carpet-bombing, that did not spare the rocks and trees. Then, after twelve days of mounting anger within the troops and officers, finally the ISPR was pushed to communicate the stance of the armed forces of Pakistan. Yet, it was a disappointing and weak response from the leadership of a nuclear-armed army. The military leadership has simply refused to protect and rescue the oppressed. It has refused to punish the oppressor, the Jewish entity. Indeed, diplomatic, moral and political support has nothing to do with ending a military attack on a civilian population, immediately, without delay.
The restraint of Pakistan’s military leadership only bolsters the Jewish entity. After a few hours of the ISPR’s statement, a horrible reminder came as a bolt from the skies. The Jewish state bombed Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, in Gaza City. Hundreds were slaughtered, women and children. After this monstrous attack, does the military leadership still think that the Muslims of Gaza need only diplomatic, moral and political support, against such an evil entity?
Currently, the world’s sixth largest army is led by a four-star general, who has been promoted as a memorizer of the Noble Quran. On various occasions, he has recited ayaat of the Book of Allah (swt), when addressing the misery, humiliation, despair and hopelessness within the army, which is compelling many to just wait for retirement. So, does the general not remember the ayaah,
[وَمَا لَـكُمۡ لَا تُقَاتِلُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَالۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِيۡنَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَآءِ وَالۡوِلۡدَانِ]
“How is it that you do not fight in the way of Allah and in support of the helpless – men, women and children.” [TMQ Surah Al-Nisa, 4:75]
Did he forget, or did he make himself forget? Why has the leadership of the armed forces restrained the willing officers from marching on the path of Salahudin, which will revive their spirits and provide them an opportunity to die the best of all deaths?
The root cause of this disobedience of Allah (swt) is submission to the Western global order, built on nation states. This international order prevents the immediate mobilization of the armies of Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Turkey and Pakistan to liberate every inch of the Blessed Lands. The military leadership must abandon current international order and defy nation state. Any military leadership must consider its current situation, and its state on the Day of Judgement. The entire Ummah is calling for the mobilization of armed forces. If any existing leadership responds, it will earn the Dua of the oppressed and huge reward in the Aakhrira. If it does not respond, it will be cursed by the oppressed, whilst the punishment of Allah (swt) is severe. Indeed, all the current leaderships must fear the Dua of the oppressed for the Prophet (saw) said,
«وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ»
“Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no veil between it and Allah.” (Bukhari).
O Officers of Pakistan’s Armed Forces! Your current leadership has a golden opportunity to seize, with both hands. It has a chance to change the course of history. It has a chance to have its name mentioned alongside the name of Salahudin. If it seizes the opportunity then fight under its leadership. However, if it does not remove it, and replace it with the leadership that will. There is no shortage of good men amongst you, whose eyes fill with tears at the situation in Gaza and whose hearts burn for the honor to fight. The war has begun and you are already late in engaging the enemy. Do not sit in barracks, when it is the time for the warrior to earn the pleasure of Allah (swt). Mobilize and Allah (swt) will be with you.
[يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تَـنۡصُرُوا اللّٰهَ يَنۡصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ اَقۡدَامَكُمۡ]
“O Believers, if you aid Allah, He will come to your aid and will plant your foothold firmly.” [TMQ Surah Muhammad, 47:7]
