The Jews, a cursed people in the words of their own prophets, have committed all forms of harm and corruption over 75 years in the blessed lands they usurped. They desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque with their impure feet, killed our Palestinian brothers, including children, women, young people, and the elderly, imprisoned more than two million Palestinians in the open-air prison of Gaza, and deprived them even of their most basic human rights. In response to this brutality and the massacres that took place before the eyes of the world, Palestinian Muslims began an uprising against the Jewish occupiers on the morning of Saturday, October 7th, with an operation they named Al-Aqsa Flood.

America, which has provided all kinds of support to the occupying Jewish entity, which was severely shaken by this operation, immediately sent aircraft carriers to the region. European countries also declared their unwavering support for the Jewish entity until the end of this war. As usual, the rulers of Islamic countries issued condemnatory messages and provided implicit support to the occupying Jews by calling on the Palestinian people and Muslims to exercise restraint!

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Türkiye have taken to the streets in 12 Turkish cities, starting from Sunday, October 8th, to celebrate the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and support our brothers and sisters in Gaza who have been subjected to brutal massacres by the Jewish entity. We called upon the leaders and rulers, first chanting: “If not now, when? Let the armies march to Al-Aqsa.” We also held press conferences in Adana, Ankara, Aydın, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Istanbul, İzmir, Şanlıurfa, Van, and Mersin. Then, on Sunday, October 15th, we issued a press statement and organized a march under the title “Either Liberate Palestine or Make Way for the Ummah” in Ankara and Istanbul, with the participation of thousands of locals, to draw attention to the indifference of the rulers. In our statement, we emphasized that the war of the Jewish entity against the people of Palestine is, in reality, between the kufar and the Muslims. We reiterated that Palestine cannot be saved by condemning the occupying Jewish entity, appealing to the conscience of the international community, or empty meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

We have addressed the rulers and military leaders of the Muslim Ummah with the following:

“O rulers and military leaders! Despite it being a forbidden act, you have so far assembled armies at the behest of America, NATO, and the West. Now, do so at the command of Allah, and for the sake of the Muslims! You have witnessed what a group of Muslims has accomplished despite their limited resources. This is a historic opportunity for you! If you wish to stand before Allah with a clear conscience on the Day of Witnessing, a day when no one can speak except by the permission of Allah, and if you seek the eternal bliss of Jannah, do not miss this opportunity. If you do not respond to this fervent call and wish to remain in your usual positions, then make way for the Muslims because we are ready to march for Al-Aqsa, Al-Quds, Gaza, and Palestine.”

We also addressed the crowds who belittle the Ummah and stand against our call, ‘O armies to Al-Aqsa, O soldiers to Al-Quds,’ and we told them: ‘O, you poor souls who have not been blessed by Allah with the love for Al-Aqsa!

Al-Aqsa is a matter of faith for us, Muslims. It is a part of our creed (Aqeedah) and it is sacred. We never hesitate to sacrifice our lives for our sanctities. We never hesitate, not even for a moment, to offer our chests as shields for our sanctities and for the oppressed. When the roads open to Palestine, you will see how Muslims from all countries will flood in. Perhaps you will feel ashamed when you see the waves of Muslims whose hearts beat for Al-Aqsa, if you still have any shame left.’

We would like to thank the representatives of non-governmental organizations and all Muslims who participated in our press statements and the march. May Allah, the Almighty, be pleased with all Muslims who gathered in the squares to stand with the people of Palestine and remind the rulers of their duties.
