March 3rd, 1924 was the day, the shield and the guardian – our Khilafah – of our Deen, chastity, wealth, blood, values, culture, and honour crumbled away but never did so our hopes as believers… Since that day we are either subjected personally to all kinds of oppression, or we witness thousands of pictures and footages of cruelty on media. Children starving in Yemen, Muslims being burned alive in Arakan and Central Africa, shattered into pieces under bombs in Syria, Afghanistan, and Gaza, and the Blessed Land of Palestine devoured by hungry wolves… Sincere innocent Muslims thrown into the dungeons in Turkey, Jordan and many other places… The torture and execution of sincere, innocent young Muslims in the blossom of their lives… China’s oppression towards Uighur Muslims… The complicity of our rulers with the kuffar… Anti-Islam policies to humiliate Islamic values and Muslims and to declare them terrorists, the criminalizing of the hijab in Europe, Russia, the USA and their puppet regimes in our lands… Guantanamos, Abu-Ghraibs, Gulags, Fallujahs, Aleppos… An endless list of seaminess, increasing every day, every hour… Still, none of those was or will be able to dishearten the Muslims…
On the other hand, we as Muslims living in areas, where we are not subjugated to this kind of brutality, we also are under torture. We are tortured psychologically through the pictures and news of oppression towards our Muslims sisters and brothers across the world. Similar to the reports from Egypt, Syria, East Turkestan and other lands, where the demons who torture a part of the Muslims they imprisoned and force the other part to watch the ferocity… Aiming to break their wills and hopes, to force them to submit to their despair, and to cripple their minds.
However, as Muslims, who have faith in Allah, His Messengers, the Qur’an and Sunnah, and the Akhira; and who believe that Ajal, Rizq, Qada wa Qadar are in the Will of Allah the Almighty, should not be affected mentally over these pictures and news. On the contrary, a Muslim who is convinced that the only thing to gain or lose is the Pleasure of Allah (swt), is aware that he possesses the superior ideas and method and preponderance to immediately get in action in order to end the oppression.
Unfortunately there are some factors preventing the Muslims from doing so… That is, that the politicians upon us, a number of palace scholars, some so-called modern Muslim intellectuals, who lost their soles to worldly prestige and acquisitions, struggle to put various obstacles in front of us. They incarcerate us within the artificial nationalist borders set up by the colonialists in order to prevent us to rushing to the help of our brothers and sisters. They strive to stifle our hearts with primitive ideas like nationalism patriotism, sectarianism and utilitarianism. They attack Islamic laws and glorify Western ideas and values in order to blur our Qur’an and Sunnah reading minds. And especially; they seek to brainwash the minds of our young generations with the Western culture, which is hostile towards our Islamic creed, through their education programs in schools, their media, and the exemplifying of the talks and life-styles of the ruling politicians upon us. Not enough with that, they work to incapacitate us through poverty, unemployment, lack of livelihood, and low quality education. Still not enough they import and surround our homes and streets in a smother of terror, a produce of the colonialist West’s plants. Last but not least, they incarcerate and impose death penalties upon those, who let not fool themselves by their games, and who expose their games, by denouncing them as traitors, radical Islamists, and even terrorists without any single evidence.
And then there are some, who seek to deceive the Ummah by claiming that the source of this misery were the weaknesses of the Muslim individuals and not the forcefully imposed systems produced from non-Islamic creeds. They seek to present the Muslims’ personalities as the cause of the calamities instead of the existing regimes of colonialist capitalist ideologies. Fact is, their fierceness even exacerbates when they see that they fail to vanquish the Muslims despite all their efforts. Regardless of how much they ignore it; the Ummah has absolute faith in Allah (swt)’s following verse: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ “Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved – unto Hell they will be gathered.” [Al-Anfal: 36]
So; if this means that the Kuffar and those who insist in aiding the Kuffar will be overcome, than this will be because of Allah the Almighty’s aid and support for the Believers. In other words: “Victory is the fate of the Believers”! For Allah always helped His Prophets and Messengers and those who followed them. إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ “Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand” [Ghafir: 51].
What formidable promise this is!!! Allah, the Great and Glorious Lord of the Worlds is the One, who keeps his promises. Remember, it was always those Nimrods, Pharaos and tyrants who were the losers! Of course, the Believers must exert all their efforts in order to attain Allah’s promise. It is this effort that keeps their hopes alive. There may be some who never heard of this promise. It is an obligation upon every Muslim to inform those! This is a noble cause, it is a challenging task, but it is a cause that will result in victory for absolute certainty!
Khalifah Omar ibn Abd al-Aziz, whom many Islamic scholars describe as the fifth Khalifah Rashidah, after the Khulafah Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with all of them) said the following:
“Rasulallah ﷺ and the rulers after him left us the Sunnah (the placed the usul (principles), the ‘adat (styles) and laws in ruling), taking these, means holding tight on Allah’s Book and aiding Allah’s Deen. No one should change them or look for something that is contrary to them. Whoever holds on to them, he is has found the truth. Whoever takes their aid, is victorious. And if someone leaves them, and follows a path other than that of the Believers, Allah will lead him to the path he turned to, and put him in hell. And that is a bad destination.”
So! It is only thanks to those among the Ummah, who exposed the open and secret moves of the tyrants, the traitors, the puppet rulers and palace scholars; and who lead the Ummah through carrying the ideas, method and goal of Islam clearly and openly, that This Ummah’s Hope Did Not Crumble When The Khilafah Crumbled! On the contrary; this era is an era of weakness, test and RECOVERY for the Ummah. And this Ummah did not drift away from Islam, and did not despair of Islam and Allah’s Nusrah (aid) despite all the hardship… This is the reason why it is still continues to struggle in Myanmar, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Its resistance is so strong, that the Kuffar constantly fail in overcoming it. There is no limit to the expenditures in their fight against Islam and the Muslims, and it is evident that they are running out of sources.
In the light of all this; that all the pictures and reports of the suffering of our Ummah do not cause despair in our hearts. On the contrary, these are only boost the anger and pain in our hearts, and thus increase our determination in helping Allah’s Deen with our lives, wealth, and time. O Believers! Continue to help Allah’s din so that He grants us His promised Khilafah and power as soon as possible!
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
“O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.”
