The suspicious KAFA association, which is supported by the authority and the secularists active in this authority, invokes from time to time its slogans and actions in which it defies the legal (Shar’i) rulings on personal status in order to test the public opinion in preparation for the abolishment of the remaining provisions of Islam. It deliberately illusions that the reason behind violence against women are these rulings, and calls for Western laws to bring equality between women and men. This association forgets that Islam is the one that honored the woman and raised her status, whereas, the West caused her high status to decline to an inferior state, causing her a prey to the lusts of men, a means of advertising, and stripped her of her clothes, chastisement and burdened her with more than she could bear. The Western countries rank first in the statistics of violence against women such as Britain and Denmark… and rates of divorce, rape and family disintegration…
The concern of the Authority, who is covered by this association, has become to change the Islamic Personal Status Laws in Lebanon and to implement the laws of the West instead of them. However, there are no Legal (Shar’i) provisions applied in most Islamic countries, including Lebanon, except in relation to personal status… at a time when Muslims anticipate the unity of the Muslim lands and establishing the righteous Caliphate State and implement all rulings of Islam, for they have acknowledged that there cannot be revival or progression for them except in the Law of Allah (swt), this association appears with huge advertisements, that the authorities allow, and calls for the removal of what has remained of applied Shar’i rulings.
Therefore, we would like to remind those who will benefit from this reminder:
– The rulings of Islam are adequate for the human being, man or woman, because they are from the Creator of man, life and the universe أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ “How could it be that He who has created [all] should not know [all]? Yea, He alone is unfathomable [in His wisdom], aware!” [Al-Mulk: 14]
– The cohesion of families in the Muslim lands, in comparison to Western societies, is due to the adherence to those provisions of the Sharia, which placed women in their right positions, whether she was a mother or wife or sister or daughter.
– Deceiving people and claiming that violence against women is the result of the Legal (Shar’i) provisions is no longer a secret to anyone, and this deception falls under the war on Islam, the implementation of the dictates of Western countries- as they have succeeded recently in Tunisia- and under the obstruction of the return of the application of all other provisions.
– It is imperative to prevent the attack on the provisions of Islam and punish all those who attack the law of Allah (swt) and to be strict with them; they are advocates of backwardness and the regress of man from the worship of Allah (swt) to the worship of His slaves.
We warn the authorities of listening to these odd voices or carrying out their desires and supporting them. Nothing rises above the provisions of our Shari’ah, and for which our souls become cheap.
We conclude with the reminder that we are against anyone who hurts women or criminalizes against women and others, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding women: «لَا يُكْرِمُهَا إِلَّا كَرِيمٌ» “Only a man of noble character will honor women, and only a man of base intentions will dishonor them” And he ﷺ said: «رِفْقاً بِالْقَوَارِيرِ»“Be gentle with the glass vessels.”
