Talk has been circulating over the last two days about a truce of which efforts are being expended to accomplish it across Syria as a whole, echoing the action points of the committee that came out of the Munich conference led by America and Russia. The committee of which has been charged and entrusted to set down the mechanisms for the implementation of the most prominent band in the meeting which they called: “The cessation of hostilities’, with the exemption of the organisations that fall under the United Nations’ terrorism list.

In this context statements from a number of sides came to the fore across the media channels welcoming this truce or ceasefire. It began with Bashar Assad as carried by the media office of the Syrian Republic’s Presidency and ended with Riyad Hijab, the General Coordinator of the High Negotiations Committee, who spoke of it from Istanbul and in the name of the fighting groups following two consecutive meetings with the representatives of the groups were held. One of these was for the American special envoy to Syria Michael Ratney whilst the other was for Riyad Hijab alongside the factions themselves. This is the same Hijab who held prominent leadership positions within the Ba’thist party over decades having attained the trust and confidence of Assad the father and Assad the son, whilst the measures for trust in this state of security gangs is well known. It is a standing that does not fall upon other than the lowest of the people and the scum from amongst them who are prepared to sell their people for a petty price. And here he is today, from a new position, continuing with those negotiators alongside him in the scheming of foxes, along a path that begins with a truce or ceasefire and ends with surrender, submission and the restoration of the criminal murderous regime.

O People in Shaam, the Abode of Islam:

Under the heading of ‘the exemption of the terrorist organisations’ from the truce the most hideous crimes will be perpetrated against you and your children and the killing and punishment will continue until you bow before the doorstep of the political solution of surrender that they have drawn out. This is what can never happen by the permission of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. These yielding truces or ceasefires will never spare the blood or sooth any of the pains. The treachery of the regime and their masters has already tested you and whoever is content with it and signs upon it will not attain anything other than the humiliation of its signing and the lowliness of being brought equal to the disbelieving Kufr regime that has declared war against Allah and His believing servants. So proceed upon the steps of your leader Muhammad ﷺ and remember that what he and his companions were afflicted with harm, torture, boycott, starvation and banishment from their homes, represented the key for Islam to reach the peoples and nations, within which the Masjids in our current day resound the very same Adhaan that Bilaal (ra) used to repeat. So just as the fruits of their perseverance are what we have yielded today likewise the fruits of your perseverance will be that which was promised by Allah Ta’Aalaa as His Messenger ﷺ relayed:

«إن الله زوى لي الأرض فرأيت مشارقها ومغاربها، وإن أمتي سيبلغ ملكها ما زوي لي منها»

“Verily Allah contracted the earth for me so that I could see its Eastern and Western parts and verily the authority of my Ummah will reach that which was shown to me.”

How the glad tidings await you in both worlds and how great the reward awaits you through the accomplishment of this glad tiding by your hands, if you were to be the key for the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah (caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. Indeed, you have already covered a lot upon this path and so beware of the sacrifices being put to waste on the tables of negotiations through the delegations of concession whose limit of aspirations reaches the level of beautifying the criminal regime and not uprooting it whilst begging for the western solutions which bring nothing but calamities upon us. It is as if the whole affair lies in the hands of Kufr whilst its followers are heedless of the speech of the Almighty:

إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّـهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

“Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.”

(Al-A’araaf: 128)
