A tense situation is prevailing at Baharampur village under the border upazila of Haripur in Thakurgaon when Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel opened fire on the agitating villagers on Tuesday (12/02/19) that killed at least three villagers, including a 12-year-old boy, and injured at least 16 others including women. And later, sadly those killed and injured were sued by government order. This unwanted BGB-villagers clash was a direct consequence of that Indian demand that they presented in last year’s 47th biannual DG-level summit between BGB and Border Security Force (BSF) of India in which BGB pledged to BSF to curb crimes including smuggling at the border areas (“BGB-BSF conference adopts measures against border crimes”, The Daily Star, September 7, 2018). Therefore we are witnessing Hasina regime’s attempts to salvage India’s killer-image by letting BGB stand against unarmed Bangladeshi civilians.
O Muslims! Treacherous Hasina, at the behest of Indian interest, wants to cripple our military and paramilitary forces. She started her reign 10 years ago collaborating with India in the brutal killing of our brilliant army officers at Pilkhana – we all remember the brutality of 25-27th February, 2009. Through that incident she weakened the nation’s military and border guard, and brought them against one another. From then on, she has been involved in various conspiracies to sow distrust and doubt in the mind of the people about our military and paramilitary. The BGB, which has the glorious legacy of BDR’s (Bangladesh Rifles) decades of defending the nation from Indian incursions, is now being used as an extension of BSF in threatening the people living near the border. Instead of being deployed for defending the border, the BGB is being used as a tool against the people in every occasion when the people take to the streets against the government, like when they did during the road safety movement, and other protests. Moreover, Hasina created controversy about the sincerity and dedication of our army, when she caved in to popular demand to deploy the army during the national election, but maliciously gave them no duty or authority making them silent witnesses of her farcical election. When our fully capable and brave army should have been deployed to liberate the Arakan for Rohingya Muslims, we instead have to hear Myanmar’s audacious claims of St. Martin’s Island of Bangladesh, and at the same time the BGB, instead of assisting the Rohingya Muslims trying to escape Myanmar with only their lives, is being ordered to fire at them.
O Muslims! To prolong her tyrannical rule and to establish the control of Kafir imperialists USA-India over our military, Hasina wants our defense forces to be subservient and backboneless. So, come forward to rescue our forces from the evil ploys of Hasina, unite under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir in the movement to remove treacherous Hasina and strongly demand from the sincere officers in the military so that they give nusrah (material support) to Hizb ut Tahrir for the reestablishment of the Khilafah Rasidah (rightly guided Caliphate).
O Sincere Officers in the Military! One of the great strength of the Muslim army is that the people are an inevitable part of it and they jointly resist the aggression of Kafir-Mushriks, a great example of which we witnessed in Padua/Rowmari border skirmish in 2001 against Indian incursion. Treacherous Hasina is destroying your strong relationship with people and spreading anarchy and distrust, so that the people lose confidence in you and stop calling you to remove her tyrannical rule. This subservient regime forced your border guard forces to act like clowns by exchanging flowers and sweets or giving ‘rakhi bondhon’ (brotherhood bond – a culture Hindu men practice with their sisters) with members of BSF – the killers of Felani and thousands of other citizens of this nation, and on the other hand deploying this very force against its own people. Hasina regime wants you to forget the Indian involvement behind the killing and mutilation of your fellow officers in Pilkhana and rather wants you to hug the killers of your slain brothers. We, from Hizb ut Tahrir, urge you not to fall in the trap of this regime. In order to save your military and paramilitary forces from becoming subservient forces of Mushrik India, remove this regime immediately and transfer the authority to (by giving nusrah to) Hizb ut Tahrir to reestablish the Khilafah Rasidah. Under the Khilafah, you will be able to give proper response to any form of aggression from Myanmar or India. The Khilafah will bring treacherous Hasina to trial for her collaboration with India to kill your fellow officers. To put a permanent end to Indian aggression, the Khilafah’s strong army, jointly with the people, will liberate India and bring that nation back under Islamic rule, insh’Allah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
«عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمَا اللَّهُ مِنْ النَّارِ عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام»
“A group of you will conquer India, Allah will open for them (India) until they come with its kings chained – Allah would forgive those warriors – when they return back (from India), they will find Isa ibn Maryam in Syria.” [Kitab Al-Fitan].
