Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan organized a major mass protest which it had called for through its media office. It was held after Friday prayers in front of the University of Jordan Mosque today. It addressed the armies of the Ummah in general and the army of Jordan and the army of Egypt in particular. It aroused their resolve to move to support Gaza and rescue its people in their great afflictions. This, in light of the failure of their rulers and their resort to the so-called international community, whose false standards have fallen, in light of the movements of these rulers and their communications between themselves and the enemies of the Ummah in Europe and America, and their support of the people of Gaza with trivial statements, about providing aid, allowing marches, and everything that alleviates the burden of the Ummah’s anger against them. Except for moving its armies and engaging in fighting with the Jews, and their reliance on the kaffir colonialists, led by America, the enemy of Islam and Muslims, the greatest supporter of the Jewish entity in numbers and equipment, openly and publicly, and with the best of what the destructive military machine has produced.
A large number from the sons of Jordan, along with Hizb members, joined the protest. Their takbirs and chants demonstrated the duty imposed by Allah (swt) on the Islamic Ummah, its sons, and its armies, whose blood boils in their veins out of their readiness for jihad and fighting the Jews, supporting the people of Gaza, and even supporting the Ummah and restoring its usurped authority, in order to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate), the Ummah’s vital issue.
Ustaadh Salim Abu Sbitan, one of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, gave a speech quoting from the latest leaflet of Hizb ut Tahrir:
[هَذَا بَلَاغٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنْذَرُوا بِهِ]
“This [Qur’ān] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby” [Ibrahim: 52]
He highlighted the victory of a group of believers over the cowardly Jews, which shook the Jews, and showed the extent of their cowardice and their request for help from America. And the visit of its President Biden in support of the Jews and raising their morale. He said while addressing Netanyahu in his meeting, “The United States [we] will continue to have Israel’s back as you work to defend your people.”
The speaker stated that the people of Palestine do not need medicine or food, but rather they need someone who will support them, crush their enemy, and restore their pride. They need the army of Jordan, and of Ibn al-Walid, and Abu Ubaida, who expelled the Romans from the land of Ash-Sham. They need the army of Egypt and Salahuddin, the conqueror of the Crusaders. He added that the Battle of Karamah is not far away from us when the Jewish army was defeated in the land of dignity and pride.
He addressed the Muslim armies, saying: The land of Isra’ and Mi’raj is calling you, so respond to the call. The people of the Gaza Strip are asking for your support, so support them. Do not be among those about whom Allah (swt) said,
[أَرَضِيتُمْ بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ * إِلَّا تَنْفِرُوا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئاً وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ]
“O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth?1 Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little * If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent” [At-Tawba:38-39]
Ustadh Abu Salim Al-Sakhri also gave another heartfelt speech in which he addressed the gathered masses, and aroused enthusiasm, and called on the Ummah’s armies to move to support (nusrah) their brothers in Gaza, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine, during which the chants, “Allahu Akbar” rose, denouncing the rulers’ failure to support the Muslims.
The following are some of the statements written on the banners raised by the protesters in this protest, which was surrounded by heavy presence of police, gendarmerie and security forces in the courtyards of the University of Jordan Mosque and the gates surrounding it:
– Palestine is under siege and destruction. So where are the armies of Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan?!
– O heroic army of Jordan… when will you pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque?!
– America’s rope is weak… but Allah’s rope is strong!
[إِلاَّ تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ وَلاَ تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ]
“If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allāh is over all things competent”.
– O Allah’s Cavalry March Ahead.
– O Muslim Armies, when will the urge for jihad for the sake of Allah, ignite in you?!
– Removing the Jews is the response.
– O heroic army of Jordan…the Jews are the cowardliest of Allah’s creation.
– O heroic army of Jordan, be like the companions of the Messenger of Allah, approaching and not retreating.
– O Muslim armies, your honour is being violated.
– O Allah we have no one but you.
– O heroic army of Jordan, your battle is with the Jews. You are east of the river and they are west of it.
– Gaza is calling for your help.
– Gaza, indeed all of Palestine, is crying out for the armies.
– We do not want to open crossings, we want to move armies.
– Allahu Akbar…Allahu Akbar, and glory belongs to Allah, to His Messenger, and to the believers.
