Freedom to Bash is Guaranteed by the US Government

News:

The latest case in US media is the shocking incident of full-blown racism against Tahera Ahmad who was denied an unopened can of Diet Coke while the person sitting next to her was given an unopened alcoholic drink on a US domestic flight. (cnn.com)  This was preceded by a bigot rally outfitted in guns and knives in front of an Islamic Center in Phoenix, Arizona holding derogatory images of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.  (Reuters)

As the anti-Islam movement takes speed throughout the United States, we find its adverse effects in all areas of life.  Making regular Americans think or believe they have an unspoken stance of authority – meaning to take matters into their own hands merely based on what they perceive as a threat or an unacceptable act.  We have Muslim women in various parts of society being harassed even denied basic rights and this is also extended to Muslim men and children.

What is worse is during racist hostile confrontations; bystanders do not speak up to stop or intervene only to further incite the situation. Therefore, the harassed are left to deal with not only one but also a horde against the abuser.

Day by day, anti-Islam movements are becoming a stark reality for Muslims and it is clear for all those who witness abuses towards Muslims and their symbols of faith and places of worship in extending the Americans’ so-called freedom of speech or more accurately freedom to bash others who practice Islam.  The line has been grossly blurred as to what is considered blatant harassment versus the freedom to express one’s opinions. Racial slurs and profanities are now accepted as freedom of speech by those who feel entitled to shout them at passersby.  Drawing highly unacceptable forms against the highly revered Prophet Muhammad ﷺ beloved to more than a billion people world-wide is now a freedom of expression or a matter of personal opinion, but this is slander, defamation in its ugliest form. Having webpages of the “best” Anti-Islam drawings updated on a daily basis is somehow ludicracously regarded as art. If someone in the United States or anywhere else were to draw a depiction of the Jews being persecuted by Hitler in a humorous light or against US war veterans, imagine the bold reaction to this act – no longer considered an act of freedom of expression but a condemnable grave tasteless action on the person’s part, who then must retract and apologize, who also may be liable to legal actions.  Yet the disgusting show of people in front of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, and several before that including a Dallas, Texas exhibit showing the honorable Prophet Muhammad is nowhere near condemnable actions by American society.

While the Homeland Security was called to the Phoenix Islamic center, it merely replied it was monitoring the situation.  Yes, watch and watch and watch the situation without any measures taken against these racist extremists who insist on instilling fear, hatred and rejection against the Muslim communities throughout the United States.

Backlash in the form of mosque sermons or giving statements of condemnations from the Muslim community is not enough. Since the US government prides itself as the land for acceptance and gathering all those from around the world, strict measures must be enacted to prevent attacks on Muslims and their properties by the government as this will be a major deterrent for frequent incidents, including preventing the hyped up anti-Islam media which portrays Muslims as the terrorists and killers while the complete opposite is true, while one needs to look at the US waged wars on the Muslim lands. Muslims must not cave in to the intense pressure to abandon their Islamic identities, as it is the reason for harassments and bigotries. Muslim children should remain firm with the love and protection for Islam and its Noble Prophet ﷺ without fear, and the Muslim community should try to spread the true portrayal of Islam disbanding the lies against of Islam. Gauging the so-called American freedom of speech is a heavy responsibility and should not be something that works to serve a political advantage in furthering the West’s war on Islam from the high ranks of government foreign policy to common rank society.

  1. Asalamu alaykum

I spoke to my brother recently. He knows next to nothing about The State.
    i.e. Khilafah Rashida

However… he *did* know everything else … except for the word khilafah!

What he described was exactly what i was going to talk about.

So i do not understand why “dawa” is difficult.

The dawa carrier does not need the k-word (to begin with)

We can build the motherboard so to speak… and then slot in the CPU at the
    end.

i.e. we build all of the concepts of khilafah except for the actual Islamic
    terminology.

Later, when the islamic terminology is add by somebody else it is only 1
    percent of the work.

i.e. 99 percent of the concepts are already built (without even referring
    to Islam)

The data is the data. Islam IS facts. i.e. it is factually correct.

We can input that data into the person, and it will stick because it is
factually correct. Later they can learn or discover that this is… “Islam”

Using this method dawa should be relatively easy even in the harshes conditions.

    We never discuss Islam.

We just discuss facts… that just happen to be the facts called … Islam as well.

So my brother describes for me the entire economic system… and he does not
even know that that is… in fact the Islamic economic system.

I think that this is how dawa should be done.

We do not ever need to mention Islam.

When the time is right… the people will know it is Islam… anyway.

Is it not still gold … if it is presented as… ” a useful metal ”

    Asalamu Alaykum
