Egypt’s Murderous Criminal National Security Agency Continues to Torture and Jail Muslim Youth in Sisi’s Dungeons

Egyptian security agents have abducted and tortured “at least several hundred people”, some as young as 14, in an unprecedented spike in enforced disappearances aimed at silencing opponents, Amnesty International asserted in a report published on Wednesday.

The report, based on 70 interviews with former detainees, families of detainees, lawyers and others, said enforced disappearances had spiked since the appointment of Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar in early 2015, with an average of three or four people reported disappeared every day.

“Enforced disappearance has become a key instrument of state policy in Egypt. Anyone who dares to speak out is at risk, with counter-terrorism being used as an excuse to abduct, interrogate and torture people who challenge the authorities,” Philip Luther, director of Amnesty’s Middle East and North Africa Programme, said in a statement that accompanied the report.

Comment:

America’s propped up murderous authoritarian regime in Egypt continues to silence any dissent or opposition to its imposed rule by throwing young Muslim men and women into Sisi’s dungeons. For decades Muslims in Egypt lived under the oppressive Mubarak regime who used the secret police otherwise known as the State Security Investigations (SSI) to abduct, torture and jail any opposition or dissent. History is charting a similar course with Mubarak’s henchmen like Major-General Magdy Abd el-Ghaffar now as Minister of Interior who overlooks the so-called fight against terrorism and maintaining stability and security through the National Security Agency (NSA). Agents from the NSA drag the sons of the Ummah away in the early hours of the morning to disappear into torture cells reappearing in front of prosecutors with forced confessions that has led to years in jail or death sentences. The NSA and Sisi regime are fighting Islam under the name of “fighting terrorism”, while their neighbouring Jews are secure and reassured.

Children as young as 14 years old have been tortured, raped and disappear into NSA hell holes alongside adults as distraught mothers desperately seek their sons’ location and circumstances. Amnesty International has documented in detail the enforced disappearances of Egyptian children in its report titled, ‘Officially, you do not exist’ Disappeared and Tortured in the name of Counter-Terrorism’.

14-year-old Mazen Mohamed Abdallah from Nasr City district of Cairo is one such child whose mother described her family’s experience when 30 NSA agents raided the family home at 3am in September 2015 and enforced the removal of her blindfolded and handcuffed son to the local police station. After weeks of desperately seeking her disappeared son’s location beseeching the police officers stating, “I do not speak to you as a police officer, but as a father, and I ask you to feel the pain of a mother who cannot find her child”. Mazen was subjected to rape, and other forms of torture following 4 months of undisclosed detention in Sisi’s dungeons until his release on 31 January 2016.

How can officers with the NSA take part in the abducting, torturing, raping and ultimately killing of young Muslim youth who are the sons of Muslim mothers and fathers?! How can they obey a leadership that orders the abducting, torturing and killing of its own people?! Just like the Mubarak regime, the Sisi regime has sold its Akhira for the Dunya of others and embraced America, the Ummah’s number one enemy in the world that is a state of injustice and oppression! However, while the Mubarak regime maintained the existence of such authoritarian oppression via SSI for 30 years, the 5-year-old Sisi regime desperately seeks to repeat such brutality and oppression. The brave sons and daughters of the Ummah rose up overturning the Mubarak regime. Does El-Sisi think that the Muslims of Al-Kenana are incapable of doing the same again? Yet the outcome will be the concluding great Khilafah project upon the path of Prophethood that will eradicate the evil plans and oppressive regimes propped up by America and her allies.
