How Do We Ever Expect Goodness, Prosperity and Peace from that which Angers Allah (swt)?
As it became clear to the Muslims of Pakistan that the Sharif family merely played a game of shifting chairs to fool the people and buy more time for Democracy, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan organized seminars and gatherings in the major cities of Pakistan. Behind the scenes the political drama had the full blessings of the masters of the regime, the United States, because as long as Democracy remains, so does the American Raj. So, well before Nawaz Sharif’s loyal puppet, Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, was even sat in the Prime Minister’s chair, a US State Department spokesperson declared on 28 July, “This is an internal matter. We look forward to a smooth transition as Pakistan’s parliament selects the next prime minister.” Thus, the members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Pakistan addressed gatherings to firmly establish in the hearts and minds of the Muslims that the only way out is to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.
The Muslims will never know of any goodness whilst they have ruling by Democracy because it is based on a show of hands to establish what is to become law and what is not. This is far removed from that which pleases Allah (swt) because in the ruling by Islam, each and every law must be based on the Quran and Sunnah. How will we see goodness from Democracy, when Democracy is the judgment of Ignorance which Allah (swt) condemned? Allah (swt) said: ﴿أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّهِ حُكْماً لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ﴾“Do they then seek the judgment of (the Days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgment than Allah for a people who have firm belief.”[Surah al-Maaida 5:50]
And how will we see goodness from Democracy, when Democracy is a flagrant opposition to the commandment of RasulAllah (saaw) about which Allah (swt) warned? Allah (swt) said,﴿فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ﴾“And let those who oppose the Messenger’s commandment beware, lest some affliction befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.”[Surah An-Nur 24:63]
This is why Hizb ut Tahrir has included in its Introduction to the Constitution evidences from the Quran and Sunnah for each and every one of its 191 articles.
Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan has confidence that the future of Pakistan is bright because it is for Islam and the Khilafah on the Method of the Prophethood. It has confidence because of what it is known of the history of the Muslims of these lands, who have struggled for Islam since the time of the Khilafah Rashidah. It has confidence because Pakistan itself was established for Islam, as a platform for Muslims and through the great sacrifices of Muslims. It has confidence because of what it witnesses of the people and hears from the people of their love of Allah (swt), the Messenger of Allah (saaw) and the Ummah and their desire to be ruled by Islam. So Hizb ut Tahrir proceeds with confidence amidst the Muslims knowing that it is only a matter of time and sincere effort, before Allah (swt) bestows the victory in the form of a ruling that pleases Him (swt).
