Allahu Akbar… Allahu Akbar, Praise be to Allah
All Praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, allies, and those who followed in his path making the Islamic Aqeedah the basis for their thoughts and the Ahkaam Shari’ah (Legislative Rulings) the measure for their actions and source for their rulings.
O Muslims Everywhere,
It pleases us in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir to convey to the whole Muslim Ummah congratulations from the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, may Allah protect him, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. It also gives us pleasure to convey his congratulations to the male and female members of Hizb ut Tahrir who work day and night to combat the regimes of the oppressive era and struggle to make the word of Allah the highest by establishing the rightly guided Khilafah State upon the method of the Prophethood which the slave of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ gave us glad tidings of its return.
This Eid comes upon us at a time when the Ummah is being subjected to the campaigns of the colonialist crusader alliance which aims to abort the birth of the Khilafah State which the Messenger ﷺ gave us glad tidings of. As such the states of disbelief, France, Britain and Russia are rushing in to take part in the spilling of the blood of the Muslims in Syria and Iraq under the pretence that they are fighting against ISIS. This is whilst the rulers of Iran and the rulers of the Gulf are competing in fuelling the furnace of war in Yemen, which was once a contented Yemen. Yemen which the best of mankind ﷺ described its people as being a people of wisdom and Imaan. In spite of that some of them have been dragged behind false and non-existent pretences to implement malicious plans in which Muslims kill one another whilst being heedless of the statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ:«إِذَا التَقَى المُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّار» “If two Muslims meet with their swords then the killer and the killed are in the fire” And turning away from his guidance ﷺ: «سِبَابُ المُسْلِمِ فُسُوق وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْر» “Insulting a Muslim is sinful disobedience and fighting him (to kill him) is Kufr”
They are going against his ﷺ’s parting advice to the Ummah on the farewell pilgrimage when he strongly emphasised the magnitude of the inviolability and prohibition of the blood of the Muslim: (The Prophet ﷺ addressed us with a speech on the day of Nahr (sacrifice) and said: «أتدرون أيَّ يوم هذا؟» “Do you know what day this is?” We said: ‘Allah and His Messenger are more aware’. Then he remained silent until we thought that he would give it a new name. (Then) he said: «أليس يومُ النحر؟» “Is it not the day of (the) Nahr?” We said: ‘Yes indeed it is’. He said: «أيُّ شهر هذا؟ » “What month is this?” We said: Allah and His Messenger know best’. Then he remained silent until we thought that he would give it a new name. He said: «أليس ذو الحجة؟» “Is this not Dhul-Hijjah?” We said: ‘Indeed it is’. He said: «أيُّ بلد هذا؟» “Which land is this?” We said: ‘Allah and His Messenger are most aware’. Then he was silent until we thought that he would give it a new name. Then he said: «أليست بالبلدة الحرام؟» “Is it not the land of Al-Haraam?” We said: ‘Indeed it is’. (Then) he said: «فإن دماءكم وأموالكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا في شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا إلى يوم تلقون ربكم، ألا هل بلغت؟» “Then verily your blood and wealth (property) of one another is Haraam for you like the inviolability of this day of yours and this month of yours in this land of yours until the Day that you meet your Rabb (Lord). Have I conveyed?” They said: ‘Yes’. He said: «اللهم اشهد، فليبلغ الشاهدُ الغائب، فرب مبلغ أوعى من سامع، فلا ترجعوا بعدي كفاراً يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض» “O Allah bear witness. Let the one who witnessed (heard), convey it to the one who was absent and it may be that the one who it reaches is more aware than the one who heard it. So don’t return back as disbelievers after I have gone where you strike the necks of one another.”
However, in spite of what has happened and is happening to the Ummah, we are all fully confident in the promise of Allah that His Deen will prevail over all other Deens and in the realisation of the glad tidings of His Messenger ﷺ, that after this stage of the oppressive rule, which we ask Allah to allow us to witness its demise, that there will be a Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood, that we hope may be near.
When we congratulate the Ummah in its entirety upon the occasion of Eid ul-Adha, let us take hold of the opportunity to remind all of the Muslims and foremost, the leaders and officers of the armies and the people of power and capability to bring change; remind them with their Shar’i obligation to work to raise the word of Allah high and to implement His Shar’a, and that this will not happen except through the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood. If the leaders and officers fall short, then it is a duty upon the Ummah as a whole to apply pressure upon them and to bring them to respond to the command of the Shar’a and the requirement of the resumption of the Islamic life and liberation from the humiliation and dishonour of subservience to the Kufr West. And Allah Al-Haqq سبحانه وتعالى has commanded in respect to the Muslims that the loyalty be for the sake of Allah and that the hostility be for the sake of Allah, in their description as believers who are unified by the bonds of the Islamic Aqeedah. Allah Exalted said:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوا وَّنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ
“Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided – they are allies of one another”
(Al-Anfaal: 72)
And the Almighty said:
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ
“And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be Fitnah on earth and great corruption”
(Al-Anfaal: 73)
And when I convey to the whole Islamic Ummah the congratulations of the Head of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir and of all of those who work within it, I supplicate to Al-Mawlaa Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla to bring the next Eid whilst the Islamic Ummah live under the shade of the banner of Al-‘Uqab (the banner of the Messenger ﷺ) and that it has been unified and granted victories, might and honour by the permission of Allah, and that it has returned to its foremost position. Verily He is the Caretaker of that and All Powerful over it.
O Allah Ya Hayy Ya Qayyoom, Ya Manaan, [the Ever Living, the Everlasting, the Benevolent], O the One who has raised the heavens without pillars, honour us with the rightly guided Khilafah State upon the methodology of the Prophethood sooner and not later. Grant us the Bai’ah (pledge) given to the rightly guided Khalifah so that he leads the Ummah towards liberating mankind from the filth and lowness of worshipping man and to remove the servants from the worship of (other) servants, to the worship of the Lord of (all) the servants, and from the narrowness of the Dunyaa into the expanse of the Dunyaa and the Hereafter, and out from the oppression of the rotten capitalist civilisation and into the justice of Islam and its mercy.
May Allah accept your good acts of obedience.

Glorified are You O Allah, the praise is for you. We bear witness that there is no Ilaah (deity worthy of worship and obedience) other than You. We seek Your Forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
