O Pak Army! End Evil US presence in the region which is the source of terrorism

Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan held demonstrations across Pakistan against Peshawar massacre held on 16 December on Tuesday in which 132 children and 9 adults were brutally killed. Participants were holding placards declaring “O Pak Army! Cut Off the Head of the Snake, End the US Presence in Pakistan” and “Bombing, Insecurity and Instability, the Cause is America and Traitor Rulers”.

On 11 December 2014, Russia’s Federal Supreme Court considered the appeal in the case of four members of the Islamic group Hizb ut Tahrir, who were sentenced to prison for periods ranging from 7 to 11 years on charges of preparing to seize power in Russia. After studying the case, the Supreme Court decided to remove all the charges for offences under Article 282 of the Criminal Code (Incitement of Ethnic Hatred or Enmity,) due to the far duration of the crime. However it upheld the long prison sentences as they are. It also upheld the charge against Azizbek Inamov, Shamil Ismailov, Saypula Kurbanov, and Zikrullokhon Rakhmonkhodzhaev, for attempting a forced seizure of power; this accusation was kept unchanged.

Democracy delivers privileges for rulers and exploitation for masses

On 1st December 2014, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan issued a leaflet titled “The Khilafah will End Democracy and its Injustice” to expose the ugly reality of the democratic system. In order to further explain this issue Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan conducted a campaign of public addresses at public places and outside Masajid in the major cities of Pakistan. Shabab of Hizb ut-Tahrir addressed these public meetings, explaining how the democratic system is unIslamic and only protects the interests of the elite. They said that the century-long history of the democratic system proves that wherever and in whichever shape has been implemented, it always guaranteed privileges for the rulers and exploitation for the masses. This characteristic of the democratic system is because of right of legislation through which elected members manipulate laws and fill their pockets and the pockets of their associates. Concentration of wealth in the oldest democracies like America and Britain is proof of this fact, which even President Obama has admitted. Speakers said that because of this inherent characteristic of the democratic system even in Pakistan members of parliamentary assemblies have tripled their wealth in just six years.

Media Must Propagate Truth, NOT Lies

On Friday 5th December 2014 the Raheel-Nawaz regime’s agencies with the help of local police raided a talk arranged by Hizb ut-Tahrir in Gulberg, Lahore, and arrested a number of its Shabab. Such talks are a routine activity arranged by Hizb ut-Tahrir, across the country in many localities, to explain the idea of Khilafah and its importance for the revival of the Ummah. While the arrests of the Shabab of Hizb ut-Tahrir on the orders of the tyrants is nothing new, what was different this time was the manner in which the regime presented our Shabab, placing a sheet over their heads in front of the media and accusing them of being linked with ISIS. After seeing that physical torture, abductions, arrests and harassment neither deterred Hizb ut-Tahrir from its struggle, nor reduced the love for Hizb ut-Tahrir within the Ummah and the armed forces, the regime has resorted to slander campaigns in the media, by attempting to link the party and its men to the activities of the militant organization “ISIS”.

On Friday, 05 December 2014, eleven members and activists of Hizb ut-Tahrir were arrested in Dhaka and Chittagong when they were distributing a leaflet issued by the party dated 13 Safar 1436 AH corresponding to 05 December 2014 CE. What is it with Hasina and her government? Half a decade has passed and they have not yet learnt that arrests, persecution, and firing bullets etc are useless blunt tools with which to face Hizb ut-Tahrir. The Hasina government has arrested many hundreds of party members and activists in the past half a decade, from the beginning of 2009 until now and yet it has not succeeded even by a hairbreadth to stop the party from pursuing its goal of liberating the Ummah by establishing Islamic rule, the Khilafah. Rather Hizb ut-Tahrir has become stronger and established its roots deeply within the country. Hasina and her henchmen need to stop undertaking shallow actions which might work against other parties but not Hizb ut-Tahrir and face us by putting forward a political ideology and message stronger than our political ideology i.e. Islam and our political message.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Rejects the Claim of Arresting Two of Its Men in Lahore

On 27th November 2014, some newspapers in Lahore published a report that, “Hizb ut-Tahrir has been found doing wall chalking for ISIS” and claimed two have been arrested in this connection. Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan strongly rejects this false report. Neither have the two persons arrested have any link with Hizb ut-Tahrir, nor is Hizb ut-Tahrir running any campaign in favor of ISIS. In this respect, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan draws attention towards to the following points:

Recently a huge number of brochures, posters and flyers were distributed in Kabul and other provinces, under the title of “Activities of Hizb ut Tahrir are against the fundamentals of Islam”, in both Dari and Pashto languages. The content of these materials were nothing but blatant lies, slander and a campaign to denigrate Hizb ut Tahrir. Any sane Muslim who has the slightest awareness about Hizb ut Tahrir and its activities will never associate such cheap slanders to an Islamic movement and will out -rightly reject it. Hence, these things were written by illiterate writers and distributed at the behest of the intelligence agencies, using its puppets in some so-called “Islamic organizations”, to defame Hizb ut Tahrir and to create confusion about our activities among the Ummah.

On 13/11/2014 CE, the official page of the Russian Public Investigation posted a media bulletin stating that the court near Moscow announced that Hizb ut Tahrir printed and distributed terrorist publications on 25/9/2013 CE on Kistikovi Street in the city of Odintsovo, that the police regulated the distribution process of 233 printed copies belonging to the Islamic Hizb ut Tahrir’s publications which are banned in Russia. And investigations have started into this incident, and the Public Investigation did not disclose the content of the publications but settled by saying: “They plant hatred and animosity among the citizens based on religion, and they didn’t fail to mention that the Hizb is banned and a terrorist in Russia.”

On 7 November 2014 on the “Portal of forensic enquiry and law” (www.ceur.ru), it was reported that the resident of Kazan Il’nar Zyalilov was subjected to an administrative punishment for sitting in his own car with the flags of Shahada – a testimony of Islamic belief. The representatives of the law enforcement officials saw in his actions the intention to demonstrate publicly a symbol of the international Islamic political party “Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami”.

On 30 October, Memorial Human Rights Centre published a list of Russian political prisoners. There are 46 people in the list; nine of them are the members of the Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir.

Only Khilafah Can Give an Appropriate Reply to India’s Aggression

Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan demonstrated in Rawalpindi/Islamabad against Indian aggression at Line of Control and Working Boundary. Protestors carried banners and placards declaring: “Indian Aggression Has US Backing Only the Khilafah Will Give Befitting Reply to Indian Hostility” and “Criminal Silence Over Indian Aggression Is Treachery Against Pakistan, Muslims and Islam”.

On 15 October 2014, the Vakhitov District Court in Kazan arrested eight Muslims on suspicion of belonging to the activity of Hizb ut Tahrir party. A day earlier AFSS (Administration of the Federal Security Service) RF in RT reported that along with MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) led a series of searches in the Muslims’ houses of Tatarstan. The goal of such wide-scale actions was the members of the international Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir, who have been undergoing repressions for already more than 10 years.

Yesterday (Friday, 17/10/14), tyrant Sheikh Hasina’s police force fired at a protest meeting in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir against the comments made by Latif Siddique vilifying RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم and the blessed Hajj. They shot a Shabab of the party, Muhammad Nafis Salam, an IT Consultant of age 36, in the back and when he collapsed to the ground wounded they shot him in the leg twice at pointblank range. These evil men in Hasina’s police force then went on to beat him mercilessly while he lay wounded on the road and blood gushed out of him. Nafis Salam is now fighting for his life. We pray for our brother’s wellbeing and call upon the people to pray for him; truly he is a righteous slave of Allah, we consider him so, yet we do not commend anyone to Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

Several protest meetings were organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir after Jummah prayers today outside various mosques in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet against the audacious and derogatory comments by the Posts and Telecommunications Minister in Sheikh Hasina’s Kufr government, Latif Siddique. Speakers at the meetings said Latif Siddique made his comments knowing that he will go unpunished. Rather he was sure of that; he was fully aware that he will not be arrested and punished by the Hasina government for his crime. This is because hatred and animosity towards Islam is the touchstone of this government which it has sponsored and nurtured from day one. It gave free rein to whoever wanted to attack Islam while at the same time suppressing those who call for Islam. Hasina herself goes around the globe championing her government as the only way to fight the rise of Islam in Bangladesh, which she audaciously labels as “the rise of terrorism.” So how will it be that this very regime will punish this lowly man? On the contrary, they are guiding him in his steps in order to protect him from the public’s wrath and facing any punishment while he is arrogantly unrepentant about his comments. Therefore instead of bringing him back to the country and prosecuting him, they are advising him to stay outside the country until further instructions from them.

On 30 September 2014, Naberezhnye Chelny City Court convicted four members of Hizb ut Tahrir. The court found the Muslims guilty under Article 282 Russian Criminal Court (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as the humiliation of human dignity) and Article 282.2 Russian Criminal Court (participation in the activity of extremist organization). Ryazapov Bulat born in 1973 sentenced to one year and four months of imprisonment in a penal colony. The rest of the believers – Baynazarov Oybek born in 1969, Basirov Radif born in 1971, Kuchkarov Ramil born in 1983 – received a year of imprisonment on probation.

On 30th September our dear Brother and a sincere Dawah carrier Mahmood died in a car accident on Kabul-Baghlan highway. Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Afghanistan prays to Allah سبحانه وتعالى for his forgiveness, to bless him in Janatul-Firdaus and give Sabr to his family.

Brother Mahmood was an active dawah carrier and was one of the founding members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Baghlan. He faced all sorts of problems and difficulties yet he stood firm and continued his struggle for the reestablishment of the Khilafah Rashidah.

On 22 August 2014, the Investigative Committee of Russia in Chelyabinsk region reported on the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against six members of the international Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir. All of them are accused on Art. 282.2 CC RF (Organization of the activity of the extremist body).

On 21 August 2014 in Vakhitovsk District court of Kazan city the next hearing of a criminal case passed. The members of Hizb ut Tahrir are on the dock, and the incriminated article of the Criminal Code is 282.2 (Organization of the activity of the extremist body).

Lenta.ru site reported on 30/07/2014 from the Russian Interfax news agency that the Moscow City Court sentenced four members of Hizb ut Tahrir. They are: Azizbek Inamov (age 37), Shamil Ismailov (age 40), Saypula Kurbanov (age 34), and Zikrullokhon Rakhmonkhodzhaev (age 38); whom were accused of terrorist activities that are banned on Russian territories. They were also accused of organization and participation in activities of a banned extremist organization, and planning to seize power by force and change the constitutional order of the Russian Federation. As well as being charged of illegally obtaining and possessing weapons and explosives. Inamov was sentenced to 11 years in prison with hard labor and a fine of 200 thousand rubles. While Ismailov and Kurbanov were sentenced to 8 years in prison with hard labor and a fine of 100 thousand rubles and 150 thousand rubles, respectively and Rakhmonkhodzhaev was sentenced to imprisonment for 7 years with hard labor and a fine of 50 thousand rubles.

Moscow City Court sentenced four members of Hizb ut Tahrir falsely accused of preparation for the overthrow of the Russian constitutional order on terms ranging from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.

The natives of Central Asia, Azizbek Inamov and Zikrullokhon Rakhmonkhodzhaev, were sentenced to 11 and 7 years of imprisonment respectively, and Dagestan Doctors Saypula Kurbanov and Shamil Ismailov to 8 years of colony. They were convicted of the involvement of persons in the commission of the actions that were aimed at a forced seizure of power and forced change of the constitutional order (Part 1 Article 205.5 CC RF), and also of the preparation of a forced seizure of power and forced change of the constitutional order (Part 1 Art.30 and Art. 278 CC RF). In addition, all were convicted of an extremist activity (Art. 282.2 CC), and Rakhmonkhodzhaev was yet found guilty of acquisition and storage of the ammunition planted to him during a search (Part 1 Article 222 CC RF).

Members, activists and supporters of Hizb ut Tahrir gave their best effort in this blessed month of Ramadan to convey to the people the grave importance of re-establishing the Khilafah and that the Khilafah is the only way to liberate the Muslims of Palestine. They started their work on the first Friday of Ramadan (06 Ramadan / 04 July) with mass distribution of the leaflet issued by Hizb ut Tahrir, Wilayah Bangladesh, titled “Dying under the Hasina-Khaleda Regime is a Death of Jahiliyyah and Removing this Kufr Regime is an Obligation.” On that day they distributed thousands of leaflets in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Comilla and they followed that up in the next 3-4 days; in total more than 150,000 leaflets were distributed by them within these 4-5 days.

On Sunday, 06 July 2014, police arrested two Shebaab of Hizb ut Tahrir from Mendibag area of Sylhet city in Bangladesh where they were distributing leaflets. The Sobhanighat police filed a case against Syed Tanvir Hasan, a former student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, and Sadikul Islam, an MBBS student of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College.

Armed Forces Must Liberate Palestine from the Jewish Occupation

During Ramadhan, the month of victory, the Jewish State has dared to spill the pure Muslim blood in rivers, in Gaza, Palestine. Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan has held demonstrations throughout the country, calling upon the armed forces of the Muslims to end the Jewish occupation. Demonstrators were holding banners and placards declaring, “O Pakistan Armed Forces! Mobilize now and Liberate Palestine,” “Only the Khilafah will Liberate all Muslims from Oppression” and “Khilafah is the Shield of the Muslims.”

The Jakarta Post, a magazine published in the English language, has published in its edition dated 3/7/2014 CE, last week, in the Views section, a cartoon picture insulting to Muslims. The picture showed a banner with the shihada written on it, flapping high, with a picture of a skull, the symbol of pirates under the flag of (la ilaha il Allah); under it men of Arab features were drawn, some were on vehicles with heavy artilleries and others were carrying out executions on people using bullets. The picture depicts Islam as a barbaric religion that spills blood. The picture was more offensive when the words (Allah, the Messenger, and Muhammad) were written on the skull.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan displayed banners throughout the provincial capital of Pakistan’s largest province Punjab, Lahore. Lahore is a previous seat of ruling for the Muslim rulers in the time of the Islamic Khilafah state and is now home to over ten million Muslims. The banners were placed in prominent public areas and called for the immediate release of Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan and the country’s most prominent advocate for Khilafah. This is now the third Ramadhan that Naveed greets in abduction. The Muslims of Pakistan are asked to make dua for his release and ask about his well-being from the influential that they know in general and in particular from the senior armed forces intelligence officials.

On 24 June on the threshold of Holy Ramadan in St. Petersburg, the special services conducted a special operation to arrest the Muslims from Hizb ut Tahrir. As reported by the media, 150 officers of FSC and MIA, also “GRAD” and OMON fighters were involved in the event. 50 Muslims were detained, among them were the immigrants from the Central Asian republics of the former USSR and the natives of Russia and St. Petersburg. Later it became known that a preventive measure as detention was selected against six of the detainees.

On Friday, 23 May 2014, Bengali police arrested five members and activists of Hizb ut Tahrir in Chittagong city of Bangladesh and three others from the Muslims who were opposing police action. The arrested are Mohammad Wahid, Mohammad Najmul, Mirza Mohammad Saim, Mohammad Hasan, Shahadat Hossain, Mohammad Rusl, and Mohammad Hossain. The police also arrested Atikur Rahman who is 24 years old and a Master of Business Administration student of Chittagong University. According to the police, all were charged with circulating anti-government leaflets among people. The Magistrate ordered the imprisonment of the eight detainees and be sent to prison.

Hizb ut-Tahrir organized Public Talks outside several mosques in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong after Jummah prayers today in commemoration of the destruction of the Khilafah on 28th Rajab 1342 AH (24th March, 1924) by Mustafa Kamal, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى punish him in Hell for eternity. The speakers at the talks reminded the Muslims of their duty to re-establish the Khilafah state. They said the Khilafah is the state which is the true leadership of the Muslims. It rules them by the Qur’an and the Sunnah in which we find the best solutions for treating the problems of the Ummah. And it is the protector of the Muslims from the aggression of their enemies.

As it is widely reported by media that the Egypt court in El Minya, about 200 km from Cairo has recommended the death penalty for 683 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood including the leader of its group Mohamed Badie on 28th of April 2014. It is the second mass verdict after violent protests against the deposing of President Morsi last year. The court also instructs to confiscate Muslim Brotherhood’s quarters and declares its activities as illegal. Following the overthrow of President Morsi, thousands of Muslim Brotherhood members have been arrested. Morsi, the deposed president, is also prosecuted in the cases against him. He will get death penalty if proven guilty.

Naveed Butt’s Abduction: Two Years, Too Much! He Must Be Released Immediately

Today, the wife of Naveed Butt, Advocate Sadia Rahat and other members of his family held a press conference at the Islamabad Press Club. Advocate Sadia Rahat briefed the media regarding Naveed Butt’s abduction and the judicial process that has taken place since his abduction on 11th May 2012, two years ago.
