Recently a huge number of brochures, posters and flyers were distributed in Kabul and other provinces, under the title of “Activities of Hizb ut Tahrir are against the fundamentals of Islam”, in both Dari and Pashto languages. The content of these materials were nothing but blatant lies, slander and a campaign to denigrate Hizb ut Tahrir. Any sane Muslim who has the slightest awareness about Hizb ut Tahrir and its activities will never associate such cheap slanders to an Islamic movement and will out -rightly reject it. Hence, these things were written by illiterate writers and distributed at the behest of the intelligence agencies, using its puppets in some so-called “Islamic organizations”, to defame Hizb ut Tahrir and to create confusion about our activities among the Ummah.

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Afghanistan rejects whatever is written in these print materials with strong words and considers it a trivial attempt of the puppet intelligence agencies of Afghanistan, who are supported and funded by the enemies of Muslim and Islam under the guise of “war on Terror”.

All this is happening at a time when the call for Khilafah is rapidly growing on a daily basis, and the urge for Khilafah and the work for its establishment is on its rise in every age group in Afghanistan. It is because of this overwhelming support for the idea of Khilafah and Hizb ut Tahrir that the agencies have started taking desperate actions in order to malign the call for Islam as a way of life. However, the campaign failed miserably and backfired as people rejected the content written in these brochures, posters, flyers etc. since they knew of Hizb ut Tahrir and its call.

The fundamental question that needs to be asked is: Is signing the security pact with US, allowing U.S. drones to murder innocent Muslims, killing the innocent people in Paktia by US and NATO forces, the insult to Islam by Express Newspaper, the shameful statement of Rola Ghani about the Hijab Ban in France, are these not the crimes these intelligence and security agencies should be tackling or the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir that wants to resume the Islamic way of life by re-establishing the Khilafah State through intellectual and political means?

وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ

“But evil plotting envelops only those who do it.”
