Two female Shabab from amongst the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in Bangladesh were detained on Sunday the 30th of August 2015 by the special investigative police branch in the Utar region in Dhaka. One of them is a dentist and the other is an engineer. It happened when they were inviting people to attend the political conference that Hizb ut Tahrir organised on the internet on the 4th of September 2015 under the title: ‘The establishment of the Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood… and the inevitable political transformation in respect to Bangladeshi politics and economics’ (The Independent).
Comment:
Since Sheikha Hasina, the leader of the secular and extreme ‘Awami League’, assumed the position of ruling in 2008 in Bangladesh she has worked to distort everything that is Islamic. Even the ‘Bismillah’ in the Bangladeshi constitution has not been safe from her spite and so she quietly deleted it in a land where the percentage of Muslims of the country’s total population is approximately 89% (in excess of 140 million).
In her tyrannical rule, Sheikha Hasina has followed a path of exclusion and eradication. So the Bangladeshi government began to liberally hand out the death penalty to anyone who stood as an obstacle in its path. It has been aided in this by the ‘International court of crimes’ which was established in Dhaka in 2010 and which has no relationship to the international apart from its naming as all of its members as loyal supporters of the government and fulfil what their Sheikha dictates to them.
The agencies of oppression and violation have been happening for a long time against Hizb ut Tahrir and its male and female Shabab, who in spite of the ban against it and attempts to block it, have not stopped from working day and night to expose Sheikha Hasina’s lowness, depravity and her agency just as they continue to call the people to not support her, to remove her and to take Islam as the basis for the rule so that they can be taken out of the darkness and be brought into the light. The criminal Hasina and her supporters have not delayed undertaking a campaign of arrests amongst the ranks of the Hizb whilst accusing them of destructive and destabilising acts and inciting terrorism. However she has forgotten that the unarmed Hizb ut Tahrir will continue in its work and efforts until the people’s eyes are soothed by the rightly guided Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood which has became a demand in all parts of the earth. The poet was truthful when he said:
“So have you been afraid of the truth when they attack you… Nay but indeed the truth is higher and remains in dominance”.
We take hold of the hands of our two pious and pure sisters and we ask Allah to make them resolute and steadfast. We say to them that you are the best Da’wah carriers to the Khair (good) in a time where truth is held in honour and the one who says it is rare. Your speaking the truth is nothing but a challenge to Hasina whose end we see to be close or just a blink of an eye away.
هَـٰذَا وَإِنَّ لِلطَّاغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَآبٍ * جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
“This! Whereas for the profligate there is an evil Homecoming: Hell, where they will roast. What an evil resting-place!”
