Officials from more than 30 nations and 40 international organizations on Thursday kicked off a two-day Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan in Kabul to discuss ways of rebuilding war-ravaged Afghanistan’s finances. The conference will focus on the economic revitalization of the Silk Road to turn Afghanistan into a regional hub for connecting Central Asia to South Asia, in the coming 10 to 15 years. In the conference other sectors such as trade and transit, customs and border control, SME, energy, agriculture, human resource, refugees crises as well as health and education sectors, will also be discussed.

Before this the RECCA conferences were held in Kabul 2005, New Delhi 2006, Islamabad 2009, Istanbul 2010 and Dushanbe 2012. This conference, in 2015, is the sixth RECCA conference, which will be on 3rd, and 4th of September, 2015.

Comment:

During the 14 years of occupation, by the US & NATO forces, Afghanistan has witnessed numerous political, economic and cultural conferences, but neither Afghan, nor Pakistani, Tajik and Uzbek etc. Muslims have seen any positive change in their lives, rather these lands have been turned into war zones and the lives of people in despairs due to the proxy wars between the greedy colonial powers. This war in its declared form in Afghanistan and undeclared form in Pakistan has been going on in full swing, and now it`s going to be extended into central Asian countries, the long border of which is soon going to be unsecure like the border with Waziristan.

All of this is due to the strategic colonial motives of US and NATO, because one of the main objectives of US in the region is to contain the influence of Russia and China, as well as to have control over the resources of the Caspian Sea. Now in order to attain this motive and to utilize the resources for its benefits, the transportation routes are essential. Hence, under the guise of such conferences US in fact wants to soften the grounds for making routs for itself. Moreover, the US ultimate nightmare is the establishment of the Caliphate in the region, in addition to numerous other tactics that US has adopted to stop a state that will challenge its regional and global hegemony, US wants to preempt and create all sorts of hurdles for the upcoming Caliphate, which will unify the Ummah, and will have full control over its resources and land.

RECCA conference is one of those efforts through which US, NATO and big international companies want to inculcate the seed of Capitalism deep down in the society, and to          illustrate the regional countries, particularly the Central Asian republics that US and NATO could help them in extraction of their resources, and could facilitate its access to the international markets, specifically the South-Asian markets.

All of this is happening at a time when the capitalist ideology is on the verge of falling apart by allowing the big firms, and multinational companies etc. to own public resources like Petrol, Gas, and other energy resources as well as private weapons manufacturing companies under the guise of “Freedom of ownership”, which has caused the gap between the rich and the poor to grow wider and wider with each passing day. To loot and plunder the resources of the world, and especially the third world countries, capitalism has always been using fancy and deceptive terms like, private sector, foreign investment, globalization etc. Using these ideas, they have been extending their global dominance, and are colonizing the resource rich countries, particularly the Muslim lands. They are using military as one of their major tools to subdue countries who are not willing to allow them to loot their resources and to occupy their lands militarily, political, economically and culturally. It is because of such policies of Capitalist nations that the world has drowned into poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and lawlessness.

The way US and NATO’s invasion of Afghanistan brought with itself poverty, Kufr, obscenity, killings, unemployment, displacement and inflation etc. their presence will further extend the colonialism of this land and will extend the life of miseries and hardships for the Afghans. The only way we could get rid of this dire situation is to say no to Western capitalism, its failed system ‘Democracy’ and replace it radically with Islam. A system that is given to us by our Creator, Allah سبحانه وتعالى, who said in the Quran:

ألا يعلم من خلق وهو اللطيف الخبير

“Does He who created not then know? He is the All-Pervading, the All-Aware.”

(Al-Mulk: 14)

For the Muslims of the region!

Allah سبحانه وتعالى has blessed you with a complete way of life, a Deen revealed upon the best of human beings, Muhammad ﷺ. It is this Prophet ﷺ of Allah that has sent to the entire humanity as ‘Bashir’ and ‘Nazir.’ We, as his Ummah have the same responsibility on our shoulders to take this Deen to the rest of the humanity and to bring them out from the darkness into light. Hence, don’t let the corrupt man-made ideologies to cause us more and more harm. All of us must strive day and night to eject the colonialist along with their failed system, puppet rulers, and replace them radically with Islam and its ruling system, the Khilafah Rashidah, which will not only take Muslims out from the darkness of injustice, oppression, poverty, but the entire humanity, to the light of Islam.
