The second round of the constitutional amendment proposal and the system, which the AK Party brought to the agenda with the support of MHP, started at the TBMM General Assembly in Turkey. In due course of the negotiations, the deputies will have made their final decisions on the constitutional amendments. To accept the proposed articles at least 330 ‘Approval’ votes are required. After the first round of the vote which was made in the parliament last week the second round of proposals for the constitutional amendment, including the presidential system began this week at the Parliamentary Assembly. As in the first round the proposal for constitutional amendment will probably also go through the second round and this will go to referendum. It is expected that the proposal for constitutional amendment to become law enforcement by passing through the referendum which will be done in April. Thus, the eighteen articles in the new constitution and the presidential system will have entered Turkey’s political life. As a result of this AK Party-America- will come out better off while CHP-England- will suffer a great loss. But the debate on this issue will continue whatever. As a matter of fact, leader of CHP Kılıçdaroğlu wanted to give a message to the society with a statement saying “Even if the Presidential system comes out from the referendum, crises will not come to an end and a civil war may occur”. In fact, it will be more accurate to understand these threats of Kılıçdaroğlu as a political message of the British against AKP. The British say that this is not over yet and that it will continue. This is the case for the political situation.
If we evaluate this situation in the view of the community, it will not come to a better point than the current situation. Indeed, whether it is a parliamentary system or a presidential system, both are non-Islamic systems, a gain for the colonial infidels and a serious loss for the Ummah. In addition, both systems are systems that maintain the sovereignty and fortitude of the colonial infidels in order to prevent Islam from coming back to power. Whether it is the current parliamentary system or the presidential system that is intended to be brought, this will bring nothing more than demolition and impiety. The capitalist system, which contains both systems, has brought the world to the edge of the abyss. At the moment however, the society has been forced to choose between the two systems. As a matter of fact, a mortgage was put on the will of the society, and the right to make a right choice is taken away from them. The society, both demanding the parliamentary system and demanding the presidential system, has become unwittingly demanding the same thing. That has led them to accept the democratic capitalist system, which is the source of all instability, terrorism and crises. Moreover, whether it is the countries where the parliamentary system is governed or the countries governed by the presidential system, the situation is not much different. Both systems have brought nothing but exploitation and trouble for mankind. By their nature, these human systems are able to produce crises continuously. They have a character that produces more problems than solving the problems.
So it is inevitable to put forth a third alternative to the community in addition to these two alternatives. It is the Khilafah system which came from the Lord of the Worlds. This is what the community should demand and needs to work for. There is also a serious trouble of trust and instability in both Muslim and world societies due to the capitalist system. And only Khilafah is the insurance for stability and trust. As a matter of fact, Our Prophet ﷺ has given glad tidings with this Hadith that after a number of crises and persecutions stability and trust will return to the Ummah and even mankind:
«ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ r بَلاءً يُصِيبُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةَ، حَتَّى لا يَجِدَ الرَّجُلُ مَلْجَأً يَلْجَأُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ، فَيَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ رَجُلا مِنْ عِتْرَتِي مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي، فَيَمْلأُ بِهِ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا، كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا، يَرْضَى عَنْهُ سَاكِنُ السَّمَاءِ، وَسَاكِنُ الأَرْضِ، لا تَدَعُ السَّمَاءُ مِنْ قَطْرِهَا شَيْئًا إِلا صَبَّتْهُ مِدْرَارًا، وَلا تَدَعُ الأَرْضُ مِنْ مَائِهَا شَيْئًا إِلا أَخْرَجَتْهُ، حَتَّى تَتَمَنَّى الأَحْيَاءُ الأَمْوَاتَ»
“I swear that such calamities will befall this community that people will find nowhere to hide from this oppression and cruelty. At such a troubled time Almighty Allah will send a relative of mine, one of my line, thanks to whom the world will be filled with justice and security. In the same way that the world was full of oppression and cruelty (before him). All the dwellers in the skies (angels and the spirits of the prophets) and all those on Earth (believers and animals) will be pleased (with him). […] The Earth will hold back none of its plants, and will produce them in full ripeness. The dead will wish they were among the living (in order to see the blessings bestowed upon them). […]” (narrated from Abu Said al-Hudri)
Therefore, the Ummah shouldn’t approve neither a parliamentary system nor a presidential system but the system of Khilafah.
