At the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011, the Middle East saw what would become known as the ‘Arab Spring’. Beginning in Tunisia and spreading to Yemen, Libya and Egypt mass protests broke out in the streets against the regimes and the Presidents who had ruled them for decades. First Ben Ali fled, then the Egyptian army staged a coup against Mubarak whilst Gadhafi was killed when the people caught up with him.
We then saw the West quickly move to protect their interests which had been safeguarded by these tyrant rulers for so long. As such, we saw America use the army in Egypt to protect its interests whilst political manoeuvring and interference in Tunisia was employed to allow in both cases loyal western agents to quickly return to the reins of power in each of these lands. In Yemen a western overseen deal was made with Abdullah Saleh and in both Libya and Yemen the countries are still in the midst of political instability and war fed by competition between the western powers to maintain their interests or acquire new ones.
However, despite all that has been happening in the region, one place and one revolution stands out, has dominated and become the main focus of the world’s attention and object of their conspiracies. This is the Syrian revolution which is now in its fifth year. Within a year of the people rising up against the murderous dictator, son of a murderous dictator, the revolution had taken on a particular character that distinguished it from what we had seen in other countries. The revolutionaries were not calling for freedom and democracy but were calling for the implementation of the Shariah and the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. Their call was not nationalistic or patriotic but rather it was Islamic and so they threw away the colonial flag of Sykes Picot and raised high the banner of Islam and the Rayah of the Messenger of Allah: ‘LaaIlaahaIllallah, Muhammadur Rasoolullah’. They chanted: ‘We will not bow to other than Allah’, ‘Our leader forever is our Master Muhammad ﷺ’, ‘Our revolution is for Allah’ and ‘We have none besides you O Allah’.
It was for this reason that we have seen the whole world led by America collude and work day and night to prevent the Syrian revolution achieving its Islamic political objective. They have sent in the Iranian officers and soldiers, fighters from their party in Lebanon and mercenaries from Iraq and Afghanistan in order to bolster Assad’s murderous regime and protect it. When this was not enough we saw ISIS enter the picture just as the revolutionaries were closing in on Assad’s capital of Damascus and then when all of this failed we have seen Russia coming in to save the regime. Their tactics have been simple; pure and utter destruction and carnage coupled with indiscriminate killing on a mass scale, so that the people can take no more, submit and surrender to the pressure and accept the American political solution.
This is the solution that America and Russia first agreed to in the Geneva 1 Conference where it was agreed that both these states would oversee the political solution and that this solution had to preserve the regime in the form of its military, its internal security and intelligence apparatus i.e. all those who are most responsible for the torture, rape, massacres and creating a climate of fear within Syria over the last decades! At that time the US claimed that Assad had to leave his position but now on the back of Russia’s assistance and gains they are attempting to make on the ground the US has said that Assad has just as much right to be a candidate for Presidency as anyone else.
The American solution has always been to protect the regime which has acted in America’s interests for decades by being the first line of defence for the Jewish entity and a place where it could use for its interrogations, intelligence operations under the radar and to secure its interests alongside its other agents in the region. After five years of every possible red line being crossed whilst the only super power in the world shrugs its shoulders claiming that it can’t do anything, it must be clear to everyone with hearing and sight that America is and has always been on the Assad regime’s side despite the lying propaganda designed to fool the non-thinking masses in their lands. It must also be equally clear that it has been doing everything in its power to protect it and to cause the revolution of the people of the blessed land of ash-Shaam to fail.
So this is where we are today, at a major juncture. On one hand, we see the US using the force of the Syrian regime, the Iranians and Russians to slaughter the people and strengthen the regime’s position which had prior to the Russian intrusion only held control of less than 13% of Syrian territory. And on the other, it is moving forward with its political plan of negotiations between a selected opposition, the majority of which have been funded in hotels over the last five years and are pro-western, and Assad’s Syrian regime, with the stated objective of establishing a secular state (i.e. no Islam), which preserves the military and security architecture of the current regime and an election after a new constitution within 18 months. In addition, the US is now saying Assad himself can be a candidate within such elections whilst of course he rules throughout the whole period leading up to it. So yes the murderer of up to 500,000 people who has driven more than half the population from their homes and many millions outside of Syria and has destroyed city after city is viewed by the US, EU and UN as the legitimate authority through which any solution has to be made!!
On the ground in Syria, in the blessed land of ash-Sham, the Muslims of Syria, the representatives of the Ummah, remain steadfast upon their Islamic call; refusing to bow down to other than Allah سبحانه وتعالى and rejecting all of the conspiracies being hatched and plotted against them. They refuse to follow the US plan and enter into negotiations with the murderer and all those who have assisted and joined him in his murder. They will not accept new US faces to join the current ones or replace them like what has happened so many times before in Syria and all the Muslim lands. They refuse to have rulers who are only agents to the West and do not move to protect the Muslims and their blood and honour and even if they are women, children and the elderly. These rulers are only concerned for their thrones and have shown time and time and time again that they do not care for the Ummah or the Deen of Islam and its sanctities. Instead we see them having the warmest of relations with the greatest of our enemies and even those who have the gall to pretend to be on the side of the Muslims like the rulers of Turkey and Saudi repeat day after day that they are under the American leadership in regards to Syria and will only move upon their order and within their coalition!! This is whilst they host conferences for the US political plan, push the American secular solutions and help them to prepare a Syrian opposition that will submit to the US’s every request.
O Muslims in every place, the call for the Khilafah that has been raised high in Syria is the call that must be the call of every believing man and woman. It is the call to remove the western colonialism and domination over our lands, resources, political willand necks. It is the call that will return the shield that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us of when he said:
«إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِه»ِ
“Verily the Imam is a shield behind which you fight and are protected.”
Above that it is the greatest duty and mother of all obligations that Allah سبحانه وتعالى has obliged upon the Muslims which is to establish His Deen, the ruling by what He سبحانه وتعالى has revealed and to carry Islam to the world so that it prevails over all other deens. The West has gathered against you in every place and strives day and night to thwart your return to greatness, a level of might and the most elevated civilisation which mankind has ever known.
The Prophetic Hadeeth have foretold that Shaam will be the centre of decisive battles between the truth and falsehood and right now it is the centre of a major battle which has preoccupied the world powers. So don’t let it be that they are the only ones working whilst we are watching but rather let us join the struggle that our brothers and sisters in Shaam are engaged in and exert all of our efforts and energies for the Islamic political objective by working to restore the rule by what Allah has revealed via the return of the rightly guided Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the path of the Prophethood which our Messenger ﷺ has given the Ummah glad tidings of. Only by resuming the Islamic life in its entirety and appointing a Khalifah who rules by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ will honour and dignity be returned to us and only by striving for this will we save ourselves from Allah’s anger and earn His pleasure سبحانه وتعالى.
وَعَدَ اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُو﴾
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their Deen which He has chosen for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, with security, (as) they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient”
