Pakistan’s foreign minister says he hopes the country will build stronger ties with Russia, as the South Asian country grapples with economic turmoil. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the remark in an exclusive interview with NHK in Tokyo on Sunday, 2 July 2023. Last month, Pakistan began importing crude oil from Russia. Bhutto said the aim of the procurement is to meet the energy needs of the people and not to shift imports from anyone to anyone else. Bhutto said Pakistan-Russia relations are on a positive trajectory and he hopes they will be further strengthened.
This is how the rulers of Muslims are. They cause harm and create crises, under the capitalist system by which they rule. They invite ruin by proceeding in absolute blind submission to the kafir colonialists. They rush to address the problems they caused in the country, by implementing Western prescriptions! If the dissenting voices become louder, poverty intensifies, and the night becomes darker, they turn to the West to provide them with its remedies. They forget that the West itself is bereft of solutions to its own problems. Indeed, the West’s own problems are now more complex than even those in the lands of Muslims. These rulers are as Allah (swt) said,
[خَتَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ]
“Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered. They will suffer a tremendous punishment.” [TMQ Surah Al-Baqarah 2:7].
They rush amidst the crises to the one who caused the crises in the first place. They thus jump out of the frying pan into the fire. Does Bhutto see a solution to Pakistan’s energy crisis in Putin’s tsarist Russia? Russia itself is suffering under the burden of the West’s war against it, because of the recklessness of its leaders and the corruption of its regime?
This is in addition to the violation of the noble values that Bhutto and his government have no concern for. They ignored the barrel bombs and napalm-like substance that Russia hurled on the heads of the believers in Ash-Sham. They overlook Russia’s support for the tyrant of the era, America’s agent Bashar al-Assad. They pay no heed to the pending reparations that Russia has yet to pay the Islamic Ummah, for the destruction of an entire country, Chechnya, a land of believers. They turned a blind eye to Russia’s support of the hateful crusader Serbs, who slaughtered Muslims and raped the chaste Muslim women. They pay no heed to the crimes committed by Russia against Muslims within Russia itself and in the neighboring states of Central Asia. They also ignore what Russia is committing through its criminal mercenaries in many African and Asian Muslim countries…
The list of Russia’s crimes goes on. Russia is no less criminal, belligerent and hostile to Islam and Muslims than the other colonialist countries, such as America, Britain and France. However, the regime turns a blind eye to all of Russia’s crimes, due to its indifference towards the victims and its lack of sincerity for the Ummah. Indeed, it does not care about the Ummah’s calamities, as it does not belong to it at all. Furthermore, perhaps the reason for this recent rapprochement between the regime in Pakistan and Russia was a green light from the master of the Pakistani regime, America. This is so that Russia will fall into the quagmire of America’s agents, such that Moscow will find no escape from Washington, except by turning towards it.
The Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate), that will soon be established in Pakistan, inshaaAllah, will be able to solve all the problems created by the secular system in Pakistan. It will enable the people to benefit from the abundant wealth that Allah (swt) has bestowed upon the country, which is more than enough to provide a comfortable life for the people. As for energy self-sufficiency, it is not limited to oil, even though it is known that the regime has criminally neglected Pakistan’s own proven oil reserves of 354 million barrels. It has also ignored further exploration of an estimated 27 billion barrels of oil reserves, offshore and onshore, largely located in Balochistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Energy experts know this well, as well as the potential of advanced dams on rivers, wind power, tidal energy, solar energy, coal and gas, that are more than enough to meet the country’s need for energy. Had it not been for the ownership of these resources by the private companies, affiliated with the corrupt rulers, their entourage and their masters in the West, the people would be well-provided for all their energy needs. It is only for the state to seize the hands of these companies from exploiting the wealth of the Muslims. So what if the state manages and supervises the improvement of these resources? It is for the state to ensure the construction of power projects and the establishment of heavy industry, to provide the machinery and equipment needed by the energy sector, domestically, in addition to importing from abroad if necessary.
The crises, that the country suffers from, are not due to its being poor, or having a lack of reserves, or facing a scarcity of resources. Instead, Pakistan suffers because of its rulers who have nothing to do with this Ummah. They do not adopt a policy of taking care of people’s affairs. Instead, they suppress the people, starve them and drown them through corruption. They also prevent the return of Islam as a system of life, that would enable the Ummah to return to its previous status, the best Ummah brought forth for all humankind, with its Iman, thinking and superiority in all areas of life. Therefore, it is obligatory for every sincere person in the Ummah, especially the people of power and protection, to overthrow these rulers and uproot this system. They must hand over the authority to the able and competent in Hizb ut Tahrir, who are working to re-establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Allah (swt) said,
[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ]
“O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered.” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfaal 8:24].
