The Regime in Pakistan Hints at Using Force in Yemen

News:

Riyadh, Islamabad – Agencies: King Salman bin Abdul Aziz met Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his delegation yesterday, 23 April 2015, in the al-Ouja Palace in Riyadh to discuss developments in the Yemen crisis and relations between the two countries. Accompanying Sharif in this visit were Army Chief Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sirtaj Aizaz and his Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. The Pakistan Foreign Ministry yesterday affirmed that the visit of the Prime Minister to Riyadh emphasises Islamabad’s support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its striving for a political solution to Yemen.

Comment:

It is known that actual power in Pakistan resides with the army. The politicians are but the face of the regime. The proof of this are the policies of the regime and the issues it adopts, manages and spends its resources on. The regime has adopted a hostile stance towards India for decades, the objective of which is to put pressure on it to give in to serve American interests in the region and to force it to move from the British to the American camp. Similarly, the regime also armed itself with nuclear weapons under the watch of the “international community”, led by America. This armament was not to liberate Kashmir or Palestine, nor was it to support the Muslims in Afghanistan or Burma. Rather, it was so that Pakistan is able to remain competitive with India strategically to be able to pressurise it. The regime did not use the nuclear weapons where they should have been, which indicates that they are used only to serve American interests in the region and nothing else, for America is the  sole benefactor from them.

The same is true of its military force in Afghanistan, which was first used to remove the Soviet Union from the region that America could take its place, and was then used to establish the American occupation of it. These two examples alone – and there are many others – show that the regime in Pakistan (the military leadership) does not carry out military action except when they serve American interests. Sadly, not one honourable instance exists in the record of this force. All its abilities have been used to serve America and rescue its coward troops, a clear example of which was the rescuing of American Marines from the hands of mujahideen in Somalia by a Pakistani military force in 1993 as General Musharraf confirmed in his book “In the Line of Fire” (p.76, 2006) saying “When U.S. troops were trapped in the thickly populated Madina Bazaar area of Mogadishu, it was the Seventh Frontier Force Regiment of the Pakistan Army that reached out and extricated them.”.

Pakistan’s role in Yemen must be understood in this context. Wherever American interests lie, its agents are there serving it and sacrificing Muslim blood and resources for it. In Yemen, the role of the Pakistani regime – whose army is known for its ability, high-level training and nuclear weapons – is to give the impression that it will use this ability against the British and their agents, whom America is seeking to remove or to force to a political deal in which the agents of America take the larger share. By this, she seeks to take the lion’s share of influence in Yemen and its huge resources, and to dominate it strategic advantages courtesy of its position on vital waterways.

This awareness about the treacherous role played by the Pakistani regime only exists with Hizb ut-Tahrir and its members like Saad Jagranvi who exerted all efforts in exposing this to the Ummah. The regime’s fear of being thus exposed, particularly from a working and respected personality from a noble family known for its taqwa and iman, who left no influential person, sincere politician or respected scholar except that he visited them and made them aware of the regime’s treachery…the regime’s fear of this from Saad and his brothers from the Shabab of Hizb ut-Tahrir is what pushed it to seize him and his brother.

The state of the regime in Pakistan is like that of other regimes in the Muslim world. Their people await their removal and the Khilafah being established in their place. Hence, they leave no effort in harassing the sincere of this Ummah. They sense that they are too weak to target their people by themselves, so they have now started forming joint forces to protect themselves from their people. However, this is a warning for the nearness of their end inshaaAllah.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا

“Indeed, Allah fulfils his purpose. He has made for everything an appointed time.”
