Ramadan is a month of victory and cutting off water will make Muslims will grow stronger in their work for the return of the Khilafah
On the 15th of June 2016 the independent newspaper published that the Jewish entity water company Mekorot cut off water supplies to the West Bank and Gaza during the month of Ramadan where temperatures have reached 35 degrees centigrade. As a result tens of thousands of Palestinians have no access to clean safe drinking water. 40,000 residents of Jenin have been affected, which includes 16.000 men women and children in the local refugee camp as well we residents in Nablus and Salfit. Ayman Rabi, the executive director of the Palestinian Hydrology Group, told Al Jazeera that in some areas people had not received water for more than 40 days. He said: “People are relying on purchasing water from water trucks or finding it from alternative sources such as springs and other filling points in their vicinity.”
Comment:
The cruel and malicious actions of the Jewish entity government to cut water supplies during the month where the Muslims of the region are fasting, is a clear attempt to belittle the sanctity of Ramadan and demoralize the Muslims. Using water, a basic need in life, as a weapon of war that harms all ages shows the sickening depths that the racist Zionist entity is willing to go to in order to secure control in the Muslims lands. Amnesty International has reported that the homes of Jewish settlers have a regular and unlimited abundance of water to the extent that they can maintain lush green gardens and fill their private swimming pools. Whilst the neighboring Muslims live on less that the recommended daily allowance of 7.5 liters with 200,000 Palestinians having no access to clean water, many of whom must seek permission from Jewish authorities to gain access. This is an intolerable burden for our dear brothers and sisters who live in the blessed land of Bilad ash Sham-home of Al Aqsa. It is a great shame on the Muslim leaders of the world who witness this continuing oppression and suffering of our Ummah and enjoy luxury Iftaars and comfort due to their holding back of the Muslim armies to aid the Ummah.
The holy month of Ramadan is blessed by Allah سبحانه وتعالى as the month of victory, but this tradition of Muslims having the power to rule by the justice and humanity of Islamic laws can never be realized with fake negotiations of peace deals with government that does not recognize non-Jews as humans. The area of Gaza under the Khilafah saw Jews, Muslims and Christians living in mutual peace and security without one dominating the other to deny basic rights. In the economic system of Islam, water cannot be owned by a company, to be restricted at will. The end to this corrupt state of affairs is of urgent concern to all Muslims of the world and we cannot stay silent while our Ummah are tortured mercilessly. We must not rest in accounting our leaders for their failure in liberating the Muslims of Palestine or indeed any area globally and we must strengthen our support for the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood as the only system for mankind to rule by as promised by Allah سبحانه وتعالى in Surah Nur verse 55.
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
“Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion – the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: ‘They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. ‘If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.”
