In the framework of holding the second annual conference of the ruling National Congress Party, (NCP), the head of the Thought, Culture and Community Affairs Sector (Intisar Abu Najma), confirmed to the Sudan News Agency on 13/12/2017, the participation of a number of intellectuals, from countries including the Communist Party of China, and Vietnam, noting that the conference will also discuss international experiences of countries, which have developmental and progressive projects, and a paper that addresses the experience of Vietnamese women in development, and the first session will address the cultural approach to human development issues.

In response to this Conference, we clarify the following points:

The Thought, Culture and Community Affairs Sector in the ruling party is supposed to build its thought and culture on the basis of the Ummah’s creed, exclusively Islam, whose provisions must be applied in society and the state because it governs Muslims who have witnessed Allah’s divinity (Uluhiyya) and Lordship (Rububiyyah). However, to look at the experiences of others, the atheists and the non-believers, in order to bring about a cultural approach to development issues, is in flagrant violation of the greatest experience of guaranteed results, which transformed the Arabian Peninsula from the followers (tails) of other civilizations, to the leader of the world in development, thought and culture. We say that this constitute an impudicity on the Deen of Allah (swt), over it being a blunder that only gives bitter fruits, which the people of the Sudan have reaped from the human experimentation, in which non-Muslims are supposed to stray, whereas, the Muslims there has come to them a conclusive proof, guidance and mercy from their Lord.

Development related to the intellectual aspects and cultures can only be viewed from the specific perspective of each society, which constitutes the totality of their convictions. These aspects are not subject to cognitive interference, do not accept mixing, nor do they open the way to cultural vulnerability, because any degree of vulnerability is a violation of cultural specificity of the society. These intellectual aspects cannot be drawn from others, while preserving and maintaining the cultural specificity of the nations.

We in the Women’s Section of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Sudan are presenting a cultural and ideological project, from the core of the provisions of Islam; and we demand that the ruling party fear Allah and apply it in society; a divine treatment for the revival and elevation of the society. If this ruling party is concerned with the real revival that brings us out from the crises of this World and punishment of the Hereafter. This is by the following:

First: The full application of Islam in the state and society; legitimate provisions, a guaranteed cure, and a worship for the One who has the livelihood of slaves, and to approach Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

Second: If the ruling party would not respond to the application of the law of Allah; the way for the correct revival, then we warn them of the saying of Allah (swt):

فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

“So let those beware who dissent from the Prophet’s order, lest fitnah strike them or a painful punishment.”

(An-Nur: 63)

And His (swt) saying:

فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُمْ مُرْتَقِبُونَ

“So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].”

(Ad-Dukhan: 59)
