Praise be to Allah; First and Last, visibly and inwardly. All the powerful are humiliated when they do not follow His (swt) guidance. All the strong who do not hold on to His (swt) rope are weak, and every scholar who does not get His (swt) light is ignorant, and is drowning in darkness. Peace and prayer on the one who illuminated the path of truth and guidance and guided us to the straight path, and upon his family and companions, and those who followed His way and footsteps to the Day of Judgment.

O Honourable Gathering,

As-Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,

This Ummah was lost only on the day that it lost the Sultan (authority) of Islam, and its light was extinguished, it was humiliated and weakened only when it abandoned the ruling with the Book of its Lord, and the Sunnah of its Prophet ﷺ, and adopted the systems of life from its enemy, the Kafir occupier. It became satisfied to be led, after it was the leader, and to be at the tail of the nations, having been at the forefront, feared by the East, and the West trembled from the strength of its knights, on the day that it had a state; a Khilafah (Caliphate) and Khalifah (Caliph).

O Honourable Gathering,

Our country, Sudan, is an Islamic country whose people love Islam and the Prophet of Islam ﷺ. They long to live in the shade of the Islamic state. They do not want an alternative to the Islamic law (Shariah). Therefore, the successive parties and governments since the departure of the English occupier, have been amusing the Ummah’s feelings with Islam, but do not implement it, instead they implement the secular systems of the West, which are based on separation of religion from politics. This has been the stance of rulers and politicians in this country, for almost seven decades, until we reached this point; oppression in authority and the growing corruption, a natural result of a system that is not based on the doctrine of the Ummah, the doctrine of the great Islam.

There is no comparison in the first place between secularism and Islamic law in the politics of people and their rule, unless we want to show the extent of the corruption of the secular regimes. How do we compare the rulings of the Creator who knows what harms people and what benefits them أَلا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ “Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?” [Al-Mulk: 14]

And between the rules put by humans, based on contradictory whims, affected by the environment and reality?! The corruption of secularism, and its invalid basis, is known to all, and now we live in its heat, and are consumed by the fire of its injustice. This regime that is implemented on us today is subservient to the Kafir West. The people revolted against injustice and the life of poverty, looting wealth, violating the honour, shedding of blood, beating of the backs, cutting off the necks, and violating the honour.

The Shariah of Al-Rahman is the only one that spreads justice among people, preserves the right to live a decent life, and protects the honour, money and blood. Islamic Shariah law is not slogans, or just words used for political consumption, rather it is:

First: It is a mercy from the Lord of the worlds, not only for Muslims, but for all mankind, Allah (swt) says: وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” [Al-Anbiya: 107]

The rules and laws of Islam are a mercy; all other rules and laws are absolute tyranny, cruelty, and enslavement.

Second: It is the system chosen by Allah to mankind, for their happiness on the earth, Allah (swt) says: أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ “Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith]” [Al-Ma’ida: 50].

Every ruling and system other than the Islamic Shariah is invalid, and is an ignorant, oppressive and corrupt system.

Third: it is just and fair and ensures all the rights are given where they are due, there is no injustice, no arbitrariness, no oppression, and it is fair in implementation; no immunity to anyone no matter how high his status is. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: «لَوْ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ سَرَقَتْ لَقَطَعَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَدَهَا» “By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad committed theft, Muhammad will cut off her hand!” [Bukhari]

Fourth: It provides a decent life for the citizens of the state; the Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided Caliphate), by ensuring the basic needs of food, clothing and housing for all citizens, providing security, medical care and education for all the people. The Prophet ﷺ said: «مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمْ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ مُعَافًى فِي جَسَدِهِ عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا» “Whoever among you wakes up physically healthy, feeling safe and secure within himself, with food for the day, it is as if he acquired the whole world.”

The State of the Islamic Shariah also enables people to benefit from wealth and distributes public property revenues from oil, gold, ports, etc. to all its citizens, in cash or in the form of services for all. The State has no right in this property other than its management for the benefit of the people.

Fifth: The State of Islam, Khilafah will not give the kafir the authority over the Muslims, whether political, economic, social or otherwise, in compliance with the command of Allah (swt) وَلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا “…and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them]” [An-Nisa’: 141].

Dear brothers, the distinguished scholars, the leaders of Islamic, party and Dawah work, the Imams of the masajid, and all who are protective of Islam and its call, we say to you:

The devil (Shaitan) has gathered his party, and brought his fleet and his men, and determined to make this country openly secular, Islam has no place in it, not even the presence of some rules, as is the case now, not even the slogans of Islam, so what are you going to do about this?

There is no time to wait and stand on the sidewalk, you must be at the forefront of the ranks, working to restore the Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided Caliphate), on the method of Prophethood raising the banner of Al-‘Uqab, the banner of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, (There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), so that you may achieve and witness the glad-tidings of the Prophet ﷺ Muhammad ﷺ who said: «… ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» “then there will be oppressive rule (ملكًا جبرية) for as long as Allah wills, then he will remove it when He wills, and then there will be Khilafah upon the method the Prophethood.”
