A journalist from The Sunday Telegraph contacted the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Britain asking about the activities of the party and the recent comments of a Member of Parliament who said he was concerned about the proximity of the activities of members of Hizb ut Tahrir to asylum-seeker accommodation in his city.

British media and narrow-minded MPs push false narratives hoping to score cheap points by throwing the extremism label around. It is in truth an own goal, as Britain’s cruel and callous attitude towards immigrants is once again exposed. The nimby policies of such politicians show that they view the migrants themselves as the problem, rather than the British neo-colonialist foreign policies that successive governments have adopted for decades until this very day.

Many of the refugees in Britain will have suffered at the hands of dictatorial regimes that Britain has nurtured and supported. They may well already be aware of the work of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Muslim lands, as it is the only party that seriously works to end the colonialist hegemony and re-implement the Islamic way of life on the way of Prophethood.

The ridiculous question about the extremism labels that British media and politicians like to throw about just exposes the bigoted arrogance of the accusers. Do they consider the last and final Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, to be an extremist, as he confined himself to the unchanging rules and moral standards sent to him as Revelation? Do they consider the Companions of the Messenger to also be extreme for adhering to the teachings of the Prophet (saw)? How foul an accusation would that be!

Yet such hypocritical bigots find themselves able to label who wishes to end the horrors of British colonialism as an extremist. So, the reality of the false accusation is exposed. Whoever resists the whims of the bigoted privileged elite are labelled as extremists, while cowardly sycophants who seek only to smear and silence are not.
