The official spokesman of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah) and the Chairman of the Political Department, Sa’eed Shamsan, saw that the meeting last Thursday between the delegation of the leadership of Islah and Brother Abdul Malik Al Houthi came to strengthen the signed agreement within the framework of National Consensus, and to emphasize the need for cooperation to its implementation by Islah Party and by the Houthi brothers, Shamsan was astonished- during his comment to Suhail satellite channel – from the discomfort of some of such a move, confirming that the meeting that took place between the parties did not depart from what had been agreed upon in the framework of national consensus, and explained that it was agreed with the Brother Abdul Malik for the cooperation to build a civil state, which he said that we all miss it today and call for. And he added, “The second thing that was agreed upon is to continue the communication to end all causes of tension and to address the implications of the last stage.” (Reform Net – Sana)
We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Yemen rejoice when two Muslims meet by agreement not by the sword because this is what pleases Allah Almighty and following of the great rules of Islam that must be the arbiter in every dispute, whatever it may be, preventing of bloodshed between Muslims, returning the rights of people, and eradicating what harbors animosity and hatred, all are obligations of the great obligations and this is what we extend our blessings to in this agreement between the two groups, where we asked Allah that their motivation is to abide by Shariah rule, and out of self-conviction and not to satisfy foreign Western or regional parties. But what was announced by the official spokesman for the Yemeni Congregation for Reform and Chairman of the political department, Sa’eed Shamsan, unfortunately reveals that the reconciliation that took place is to promote the agreements signed within the framework of national consensus, which was sponsored by the Western countries led by America and Britain, whose conflict has flared up. Then the latter show its agreement to the former conceited one, but the national consensus that they are talking about is only an idol made of dates that the West created for sanctification by those Parties as it wishes, while people are innocent from it.
It is regrettable that these two groups are called “Islamic groups”, but when we see their actions and political programs we see that they follow the Western projects and its democratic civil state. Whatever debate they have about its meaning or attempts to Islamize it, its intellectual and applicable reality is that it separates Deen from life and reduces it to a religion with rituals only. It would have been better if they have agreed to make Islam the arbiter in life and make Yemen the nucleus of the righteously guided Islamic Khilafah state upon the method of Propethood, and to cut off all ties with the countries of the West and its tools in the region’s countries, but this did not happen, but they authorized themselves to murder and fight for political gains and consolidated the culture of hatred among their followers with sectarian and tribal slogans which led to bloodshed, and each considers its dead as martyrs!! This is in addition to the increase of misery and hardship that the people of Yemen face.
We advise our brothers in these two groups to return to Allah سبحانه وتعالى and work to make His Shariah as the arbiter and to renounce those articles that contradict the Shar’i that marred their reconciliation, and to liberate from Western political and intellectual shackles: the West and its projects do not bring forth any good. If they do that that then they should have full trust that Allah will be with them, and we are with them and the people of Yemen and all the Muslims.
وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
“But all might belongs to Allah and to His Messenger and the believers. But the hypocrites do not know this.”
