‘Proxy War’ between Myanmar’s Buddhists and Muslims

Evidence suggests Myanmar pits the majority Buddhist religious group against minority Muslims for political gain. (Source: Al Jazeera)

Comment:

Racism betrays the level of thought in any society. It is almost a reflex posture, at the level of animals. It is not the quality of an enlightened sublime way of life. State organised racism, bigotry and hatred for a race echoes of the massacres in Syria, NeoCons war against Islam, genocide in Bosnia, Zionism and Nazism.

Myanmar’s state organised slaughter, pillaging and rape is especially shocking as the motivation seems to be nothing more than the greed for land and resources. Fuelled by the manufactured fear and hatred of the Rohingya Muslims.

What can we do about organised inhumanity? What about equality lost in the organised violence in Rakhine state in Myanmar?

Where are the armies of the Muslims? Where is the ruler and the armies of neighbouring Bangladesh? Why are the rulers of Muslim Indonesia and Malaysia silent in the face of this on-going massacre? The answer of course, is that we now have been conditioned to accept and think along the lines of ‘countries’ and nationalities. The concept forced upon us through blood and occupation. We have been conditioned to believe in Islam in our Aqeedah, but not see it beyond the boundaries of our artificial divisions, colonial constructs called ‘countries’. And so our leaders who claim to be Muslim, feel no sadness, no duty to rescue the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) when they reside beyond the dotted lines of the map. This is Kuffur and not from Islam.

Islam came as a mercy to Muslims as well as mankind. It came with a unique and strong system from which emanates structure and organisation. The armies of Islam liberated lands from lives dominated by racism, bigotry, superstitions, to an enlightened life of justice and peace. Rasulullah and the Khulafa’ that came after him implemented Islam which protected all citizens of the Daulah Muslim or not and established an enlightened society of peace and justice.

We need the mercy of Islam. We must return and answer the call of Rasulullah . And we must not allow ourselves to be deceived by the fraud that claims to be the khilafah today in the Middle East, which does not differentiate between the enemies of Islam and the Muslims; with an agenda that appears to harm Islam and the Ummah and benefit the enemies of Islam.

We must implement Islam the way Rasulullah has taught us. Only then, will the Rohingyas be safe. Only then will we stop being Bengalis, Indonesians, Malaysians, Saudis, Syrians, Yemenis, and be Muslim, one Ummah of Rasulullah , slave only to Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
