Why Extend Support for the Tyrannical Saudi Regime, When the Extension of Nussrah for the Khilafah is the Need of the Time?

As reported in Dawn on 18 December, Pakistan Army Chief, General Bajwa, on a 3-day official visit, arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he had discussions with King Salman, the deputy crown prince and the Defence Minister, Muhammad bin Salman, amongst other senior officials. Both country leaders re-emphasised the need to continue working to eliminate the menace of terrorism and reinforce the mechanism to roll back extremism with even greater vigor. General Bajwa reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the security and protection of the Holy Mosques and also the territorial integrity of the kingdom. Later General Bajwa met Chief of General Staff of Saudi Forces, General Abdul Rehman bin Saleh Al Bunyan, to discuss military to military relations, defence cooperation and regional security situation. Both leaders agreed to boost military cooperation and collaboration.

This first foreign official visit of General Bajwa comes at a time when Saudi Arabia on the behest of the US is busy bombing and killing Muslims in Yemen. This visit also comes at a time, when the Muslim Ummah across the globe is outraged at the massacre of the Muslims of Aleppo. As reported on 18 December 2016 in the English Al-Arabiya Bajwa’s visit coincides with the visit of US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in Saudi Arabia, who arrived to discuss the Yemen conflict as well as other regional conflicts. The US has been the one calling the shots behind the scenes in Yemen and Syria. The tyrannical Saudi regime under the pretext of the “War on Terror” and fighting extremism has been shedding blood in Yemen and uses its dirty political money in Syria in a bid to prevent revolutionaries from succeeding in re-establishing Islam as a state. Regrettably, using the justification of the “Defending of Holy Mosques” the chief of the world’s most powerful Muslim forces has committed full support to the Saudi regime, whose hands are soaked with Muslim blood and which spends freely of the wealth of the Ummah in a bid to misguide her.

Why extend support for the tyrannical Saudi Regime, when the extension of Nussrah for the Khilafah is the need of the time? Indeed, the atrocities in Aleppo have exposed the corrupt political leaderships throughout the Muslim World, including the Saudi regime. The Ummah is restless and furious at their inaction over Aleppo, as well as Occupied Kashmir and Myanmar (Burma). They are not worthy of the support of any Muslim armed forces, whose men hold Allah سبحانه وتعالى and RasulAllah ﷺ, the Final Messenger to humankind, dearer than their own lives. Instead, the Muslim Ummah looks upon the Muslim armies to mobilize in protection of the Muslims of Aleppo, Syria, Burma and elsewhere. Distraught at the Aleppo massacre, the Muslim Ummah would immediately rally behind those who follow the footsteps of Salahuddin Ayyubi, in mobilizing fire and steel to protect the Muslims of Ash-Shaam. Moreover, it is not allowed for the sincere amongst the armed forces to be mere passive observers. Instead, they must move to grant Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the re-establishment of Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Only then will the Muslims have rulers that sever all ties with the colonialists and work for the supremacy of Islam. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (friends), they are but Auliya’ to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya’, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (oppressors)”

(Al-Maida: 51)

Pakistan’s Regime Counts the Dead, as India Continues Slaughter Unchallenged

As reported in the Dawn Newspaper, the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Nafees Zakaria, said on 22 December that since the killing of young Hizbul Mujahideen militant commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, on July 8 this year, more than 150 Kashmiris have been killed and above 10,000 have been arrested by the Indian security forces besides another 6,000 suffering pellet guns injuries.

Pakistan’s regime has been reduced to counting the number of dead and injured, whilst India continues to slaughter the Muslims of Kashmir. Since July 2016, after the martyrdom of the young liberation fighter, Burhan Wani, Indian Occupied Kashmir has seen horrific atrocities perpetrated by the brutal Indian regime, in the form of curfew, killings of dozens with injury of hundreds. Women, children and the elderly have been beaten, pellet guns have severely wounded many, including blinding, food shortages have deepened hardships and the banning of internet and social media have left protestors without a voice with which to alert the world to their plight. All of this has taken place whilst Pakistan’s rulers have repeated empty slogans, watching and counting when action is required. Moreover, as per the US requirements to establish India as the dominant, unopposed regional power,  Pakistan’s regime has been trying to “normalize” relations with India and bury the Kashmir issue, by exercising “restraint.” Regrettably, many attempts have been made by Pakistan’s leadership for normalization by extending concessions to India, such as weakening the case of Kulbashan Yadhav, the Indian spy, pursuing the Kashmiri Mujahideen based in Pakistan and attending 6th Heart of Asia Conference in India. And as reported by the Dawn newspaper, on 20 December 2016, the newly appointed Commander, Southern Command, Lt Gen Aamir Riaz,  even advised India to share in the fruits of future development by joining the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

The liberation of Kashmir and security of Pakistan does not lie in normalization, as this will only expose the Muslims to more harm at the hands of the Hindu State, which cannot even grant justice for the lower Hindu castes within its own authority. Justice in the subcontinent will only be achieved by the supremacy of the Deen of Islam. Islam obliges the mobilization of the Muslim armed forces. Mobilizing the armed forces and other resources, the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood will inshaaAllah force India to abandon Occupied Kashmir. India could not face small groups of poorly armed Mujahideen, even though it is has deployed almost half of its strength in Occupied Kashmir. So how, then, will India be able to face the army of the Khilafah? Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

So be not weak, asking for peace, while you are having the upper hand. Allah is with you, and will never decrease the reward of your good deeds.”

(Muhammad: 35)

It is only the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood that will implement Islam and secure the liberation of Occupied Kashmir from the illegal Indian occupation and ensure its unification with the Muslim Lands.

Democracy Secures the Interests of the Colonialist Powers and Ruling Elite

As reported in the Dawn newspaper 21st December 2016, speaking during a talk show on Dunya News, retired General, Pervaiz Musharraf, said, “Well he (Raheel Sharif) did help me and I am absolutely clear and grateful. I have been his boss and I have been the army chief before him… These courts work under pressure behind the scenes and then give decisions. The Army Chief (Raheel Sharif) had a role to play in releasing the pressure behind the scenes… Once he [Gen Sharif] got the government to relieve the pressure that they were exerting, the courts gave their judgment and allowed me to go abroad for treatment.”

The fact that Democracy protects the corrupt is clear. Using the excuse of preserving parliamentary Democracy, a politician under will come to the rescue of another politician. Under the excuse of ensuring the independence of the judiciary, judges will rescue other judges. And under the excuse of preserving the dignity of the armed forces, a military leader will allow another military leader to flee from justice. As long as the key figures in each institution fulfils the demands of the colonialists, the colonialists will turn a blind eye to such intervention. So under Democracy, all the institutions were made to fall in line, to ensure the safe exit of the American assassin and spy, Raymond Davis. And all the institutions have come together to allow the exit of Musharraf, who played the instrumental role in allowing the US to invade, occupy and remain in Afghanistan. All major US interests occur through institutions falling in line. All of Democracy’s institution backed the War on Terror even though it was for the success of the United States and Pakistan paid a heavy price. As reported in The Washington Times dated 12 December 2016, Tariq Fatemi, a top adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said that members of President-elect Donald Trump’s national security team “know Pakistan paid a heavy price in terms of the successes of the United States in the region.” And the judiciary under the Raheel-Nawaz regime was made to approve laws to surpress political expression of Islam and curb the Afghan and Kashmiri resistance through the draconian POPA (Protection of Pakistan Act) and military courts. As reported in Dawn dated 5 August 2015, the Supreme Court (SC) on 5 August 2015 in a majority ruling upheld the establishment of military courts in Pakistan.

Democracy ensures that key figures within each institution are able to exploit the institution to fulfill colonialist interests. The root of problem lies in Democracy itself where laws, rights and wrongs are all subject to the whims and desires of human-beings. Because the door of legislation is open to manipulation in Democracy, what is impossible today can be made possible tomorrow and vice versa. The real corruption of democracy is giving human beings the right to make laws. All that is required is that corrupt rulers create an atmosphere where the legislation they want is passed smoothly. Unlike Democracy, in Islam the right of legislation belongs to Allah alone سبحانه وتعالى. He سبحانه وتعالى has decreed the laws which have reached us through Quran, Sunnah and the Consensus of the Companions (ra). The Khaleefah of the Muslims only implements laws derived from the Divine sources. He has no right to abrogate or suspend the Islamic laws, he only implements them. It is only through the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the Method of Prophethood that Muslims can escape from the clutches of the colonialist powers and a ruling elite which makes laws to serve their own and their Western master’s interests. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِمَا أَرَاكَ اللَّهُ

Indeed, We have revealed upon you (O Muhammad ) a Book in Truth, to rule between the people by what Allah has shown you.”

(an-Nisa’a 4:105)
