Pakistan’s Rulers Criminal VIP Treatment of Erdogan

The Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyab Erdogan, was warmly welcomed and greeted by government of Pakistan on his arrival for two day visit of 16-17th November 2016. Placards, banners and lights were placed on routes where Turkish PM was to travel and roads were blocked creating havoc with traffic. He also addressed the joint session of Pakistan`s parliament for the third time since he took to throne in 2002 on 17 November. In his address, the major chunk of Erdogan`s speech was about the failed July coup of Fethullah Gulen and his Feto organization, claiming that it was a Western conspiracy against him. “I appreciate the recent decisions taken by the Pakistani government in this direction and I thank you for your strong support in our fight against Feto,” Mr Erdogan said, referring to Pakistan’s recent decision to expel the staff of Pak-Turk schools, which are run by elements allegedly linked to Gulen.

The Pakistan’s rulers’ narrative of “Turk-Pak Friendship” revolves around being Muslim brethren nations who must together stand against the West. However, neither the current rulers of Pakistan or Turkey care for Muslims and Islam and are themselves part of the Western machinery against the Ummah. With respect to the Jewish entity, “Israel,” Erdogan has strengthened economic ties and reopened its embassies, confirming the normalization of ties and support for its illegal existence. Whilst Russia has the blood of the Muslims of Syria, Erdogan has strengthened support. Whilst accusing the West of trying to topple his regime, Erdogan has been active in implementing the US plan to divide Iraq along ethnic lines and deny the Muslims of Syria the success in their Khilafah project, spilling Muslim blood to further Washington’s clauses. Yet no-one from Pakistan’s political-military leadership raised objection to his treachery against Muslims during his state visit. Indeed, how can they, when their own hands are covered with blood of the Muslims of Waziristan and tribal areas, whilst their refusal to stamp out Indian belligerence in Occupied Kashmir and across the LoC with a substantial response, makes them no different from Erdogan.

Democracy in Pakistan and Turkey has ensured that rulers serve the West instead of Islam and Muslims. The “friendship” of these rulers is not based on Islam but for securing each other in their thrones. These rulers have chosen to serve the Kufr system and Kuffar rulers over Islam and Muslims even though Allah (ta’ala) has ordered that enemies are taken as an enemy,

O you who believe! Choose not My enemies who are your enemies as friends showing them affection even when they disbelieve in that truth that has come to you”

(Surah Mumtahina 60:1)

Were the rulers of Pakistan and Turkey sincere to Muslims they would treat America as an enemy. They would eradicate the colonialist-imposed War in Afghanistan and mobilize in assistance for the Muslims in Syria to practically realize the Khilafah project. And they would ensure the ruling by Islam which is the guarantor of protection for the Muslims. Clearly they will not do so as they are steeped in slavery to America. The Muslims of Turkey and Pakistan are not merely friends but are brothers as ordained by Islam. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

Indeed, the Believers are but one brotherhood.”

(Surah al-Hujarat 49:10)

It is only Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of Prophethood that will unify the Muslims of Turkey and Pakistan practically, expel the belligerent states like US from their lands, who are killing the Muslims elsewhere and will ensure to liberate the suffering Ummah from these invaders.

Democracy is the Cause of Ethnic Rivalry

As reported in Dawn of 16 November 2016, jailed mayor of Karachi and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader Waseem Akhtar was released from jail after being granted bail in the last of 39 cases against him. An anti-terrorism court in Karachi granted bail to Waseem Akhtar and PPP’s Abdul Qadir Patel in a case pertaining to the facilitation and provision of medical treatment to alleged terrorists and gangsters at PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain’s hospital. Waseem Akhter was released on bail after being imprisoned in Jail for around 4-months.  The ethnic political representation of Urdu speaking Muhajir in Pakistan has become fragmented. After the apparent separation of MQM London from MQM Pakistan along with the formation of another faction, PSP (Pakistan Sarzameen Party), there are concerns that in urban Sindh, specifically the cities of Karachi and Hyderabad, the Urdu speaking population has no singular voice of representation on the national political stage. The Muhajir are the Urdu-speaking Muslims who migrated at the time of the partition of the Indian Subcontinent to Pakistan from the northern Muslim areas of India. These Urdu-speaking Muslims were important pillars of the Islamic rule over the Indian subcontinent for over half a millennium and a cradle for the resistance to the British occupation for nearly two hundred years.

Ever since the inception of Pakistan, different ethnic groupings have had rivalry with the province of Punjab, as it is considered to take the major share of the resources, being the largest province with respect to population. Having the majority of electoral seats, a party winning in Punjab can single-handedly form a government at a national level, or at least will be part of the ruling elite. However, the fault does not lie with a particular ethnicity but within Democracy itself. Democracy in reality only secures the interests of those in power, as they decide what is right and wrong for everyone else. So, the on the one hand, it leaves the entire population in neglect, immersed in problems. On the other hand, it gives those in power protection for their usurping of the rights of others or other criminal actions.  This patronage comes in the form of influence over state machinery, like police and judiciary, and writing laws in the assemblies and issuing executive orders. Thus Democracy encourages nexuses of powerful interest groups and state legislatures and government machinery. The need for people to group together, especially ethnic minorities, is also a trait common in democracy because the needs of the majority factions are given preference over the minorities. These ethnic groups fight with other groups for rights and a share of the state’s attention and revenues. This encourages and fans animosity between different citizens of the state consolidating divisions amongst the society.

And Democracy has ensured that even within ethnic minorities, it is only the ruling elite that benefit whilst the masses are deprived. It is important to point out to those who harbour anti-Punjabi feelings, that in urban Punjab, the masses are struggling to make ends meet and as for those in rural Punjab, it is as if they don’t even exist for the rulers, such is their miserable situation. Democracy by design only serves a select ruling elite, whether it be from Punjab or any other ethnicity. Democracy has and will always lead to the division of Muslims from different ethnicities and leaves the masses to burn in ethnic rivalry. Ethnic parties and their leaders exploit ethnic rivalry to grasp a vote bank and the MQM has exploited the ethnic narrative of Muhajir suppression to garner support. However since coming to power, the MQM elite itself has been suppressing the Urdu-speaking people it claims to represent, as well as other ethnicities.

The Muslims of Karachi and elsewhere must realise that Democracy and the ethnic rivalry it spawns will never let them unify, remove ethnic divisions, provide them basic necessities and ensure the proper distribution of resources. Indeed, had Democracy done so, then there would have been no need for such ethnic parties to be formed in the first place. It is only Islam which does not discriminate between its citizens from the angle of looking after the affairs and accordingly distribute the resources regardless of any ethnicity. It is the Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood which will unify the Muslims. Indeed, unity is an obligation from Allah سبحانه وتعالى and division is a grave sin punishable by Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Allah سبحانه وتعالى calls upon the Muslims as one people, ordering us to unify as one,

“And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves.”

(Surah Aali-Imran 3:102-103)

And in the same Ayaah, He سبحانه وتعالى enlightens us regarding the gift of unity and the burden of division,

And remember Allah’s favor on you, for you were enemies of one another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His grace, you became brethren, and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat clear to you, that you may be guided.”

(Surah Aali Imran)

Is There Any Doubt that Nussrah from the Armed Forces Will Bring the Khilafah?

The United States sees Chief of the Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif as a valued and respected partner in the war against terrorism, a US official said on 22 November 2016. Asked to comment on media reports that the general was stepping down as the army chief, a US State Department spokesperson said, “We have seen the reports about the chief of army staff transition. This is an internal Pakistani matter, and I would direct you to the government of Pakistan for any further information.”

Indeed all eyes, local and foreign, were on the matter of the end of the three-year term of the Chief of Army Staff, the commander of the world’s sixth largest army and most powerful Muslim army. Locally debates raged about extension and even promotion to Field Marshall. All of the avid interest and focus upon the head of the army is because it is the key to authority in Pakistan. The entire history of Pakistan reveals that civilian governments are formed and disbanded depending upon the stance of the army chief. Recent history is no exception, with the current Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, being ousted in a military coup in 1999 by the then army chief, Pervez Musharraf. Nawaz Sharif was only able to set foot in Pakistan after Musharraf paved the way through the National Reconciliation Ordinance and the Charter of Democracy.

Significantly, the US is well aware of the armed forces being the key to the authority in Pakistan. That is why it nurtures strong contact with the armed forces, through contact through CENTCOM, Pentagon and the State Department. It has used such contact to groom agents in order to secure its interests and the current kufr system, Democracy, by exploiting the might of the Pakistan Army, as was seen in the era of Musharraf, Kayani and most recently, General Raheel.

Instead of allowing their might to be used for Democracy and Washington, it is imperative that the officers of Pakistan Army ensure that their support is extended for Islam and its Khilafah alone. It is established in Islam that Nussrah is the way to establish Islam as an authority. RasulAllah ﷺ stripped the kufr rule of its physical support from those who had the material power to secure its survival. He ﷺ personally met the men of war, fire and steel, and demanded from them the Nussrah for the Deen. He ﷺ travelled near and far, in hardship and in ease, to secure the Nussrah for Islam as a state. He ﷺ sought the strong, discerning material capability in detail, asking Do your people have strength?” and rejecting those too weak to secure Islam from its enemies. Thus he met many tribes including; Banu Kalb, Banu Hanifah, Banu Amr bin Sa’asah, Banu Kinda and Banu Shaiban.  He ﷺ persisted in this methodology patiently until Allah granted success in the matter of Nussrah, with the Ansar (ra), a small but sincere and brave group from within the men of war. And so Nussrah for Islam as a rule was secured by the methodology of the Prophethood, transforming the torn and divided Yathrib into a powerful beacon for Islam, Madinah Al-Manawwarah.
