What of our Rejoicing when We Liberate Occupied Kashmir in a Resounding Victory against India on the Battlefield?!
Pakistan won the Champions Trophy with a stunning victory over India at The Oval on 18 June 2017, triggering celebrations by Muslims of Pakistan all over the world, as well as by the long suffering Muslims within Occupied Kashmir, who still aspire for liberation from Indian oppression and annexation with Pakistan. What added to the joy was that the odds were stacked up against Pakistan with a relatively new, inexperienced line-up with no star power, lack of infrastructure, poor management, low international exposure and entering competition as the eighth-ranked team. The outburst of praise to Allah (swt) during Ramadan by the Muslims of Pakistan and the sujood to Allah (swt) of their team upon victory, are manifestations of the strong Islamic sentiments within the Muslims today that is only wanting a strong leadership.
The joy was particularly strong in the armed forces as well, who had been key to the great fitness the team acquired through a stint from May 2017 at a training camp at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, but more importantly, have faced months of Indian belligerency across our border, whilst being forced to exercise “restraint” by the current political and military leadership. This strong anti-Indian feeling is what compelled the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the chief architect of “restraint,” to announce Umrah for the team. Moreover, the military chief was quoted by Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) as saying, “Nothing beats ‘Team Work’, Pakistan is a team against every threat” and in a tweet added, “United we shall defend Pak against all threats our enemies hatch.” However, had Bajwa been true to his words, our armed forces would have already been led to victory against the Hindus on the battlefield. Instead, he pours water over our Islamic sentiments, calling for “restraint” whilst the Indians work steadily towards “Akhand Bharat” (Greater India).
Indeed, if a victory over India during sports can cause such rejoicing in our armed forces and its captain become worthy of so much respect, than what about the armed forces and its leadership which will liberate occupied Kashmir and open India? RasulAllah ﷺ said, «عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمَا اللَّهُ مِنْ النَّارِ عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام» “Two groups of my Ummah Allah has protected from the Hellfire: a group that will conquer India and a group that will be with ‘Isa ibnu Maryam.” [Ahmad, An-Nisa’i] Abu Hurayra (ra) narrated, «وَعَدَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةَ الْهِنْدِ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُهَا أُنْفِقْ فِيهَا نَفْسِي وَمَالِي فَإِنْ أُقْتَلْ كُنْتُ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِنْ أَرْجِعْ فَأَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ الْمُحَرَّرُ» “The Messenger ﷺ promised us the conquest of India. If I was to come across that I will spend my soul and my wealth. If I am killed then I am among the best of martyrs, and if I return then I am Abu Hurayra the freed (from sin).” [Ahmad, An-Nisa’i, Al-Hakim]. Are their men willing to lead us in the path of honor and glory on the battlefield, snapping the chains of “restraint” and healing the hearts of the believers?
Pak-Afghan Tensions Only Advance the Akhand Bharat (Greater India) Plan
An aircraft packed with 60 tons of Afghan plants with medicinal uses marked the opening of the first air cargo corridor between Afghanistan and India on 19 June 2017. The corridor passes through Pakistan’s airspace but avoids the land route, which is prone to political tensions. Afghanistan depends on Pakistan’s Karachi port for its foreign trade and is allowed to send a limited amount of goods overland through Pakistan into India, but imports from India are not allowed along this route. Border crossings are often closed as Afghan and Pakistani forces clash over the disputed border, and Afghan farmers have complained of fruit and other produce rotting without other options for shipping.
The current Pak-Afghan border tensions are only benefitting India’s rulers by creating an opportunity for New Delhi to tighten its embrace of the “Northern Alliance” led regime in Kabul. Division between Muslims has always benefited the Kuffar and the people are aware of the dangers of the colonialist “divide and rule” policy. Even under the current corrupt, non-Islamic regimes, when Muslims come together for a cause, they are effective. When the Muslims of Afghanistan and Pakistan came together to resist Soviet Russia’s occupation, they were not only successful in forcing its withdrawal, they also sent a strong message to India to curb its mischief. However, now the US puppets in Afghanistan and Pakistan have escalated tensions, the American crusader forces are able to breath a sigh of relief, whilst India escalates its hostile actions.
The Khilafah on the Method of the Prophethood alone will smash the Greater India plan. From the first day, wherever it is established first, it will work actively to end the colonialist imposed borders that divide Muslim Lands. It will implement Islam comprehensively and call to the Muslims to work to unify under the Khaleefah’s authority. It will gradually and consistently work to gather the entire Ummah as the world’s largest and most resourceful state. Unity is an obligation from Allah (swt),
وَاعتَصِموا بِحَبلِ اللَّهِ جَميعًا وَلا تَفَرَّقوا
“And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves.”
(Surah Aali-Imran 3:103)
and division is a grave sin punishable by Allah (swt),
وَلاَ تَنَازَعُواْ فَتَفْشَلُواْ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ
“and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart”
(Al-Anfal:46)

Pakistan and India should address the core issue of Kashmir for the sake of peace and prosperity for their people according to Pakistan’s High Commissioner Abdul Basit in an interview published in India on 21 June, whilst adding that cricketing ties should continue. “I think we should play cricket and other sports too… If we put off all sporting ties until we solve our problems, that wouldn’t be wise. These events do help create a better environment and we need that,” Mr Basit told The Hindu.
The Bajwa-Nawaz regime is calling for negotiations over Kashmir, even though India’s arrests for merely celebrating Pakistan’s cricket victory is a clear reminder of the contempt of the Hindu for Pakistan and Muslims. The Bajwa-Nawaz regime is crying for peace at a time when India is slaughtering and maiming Muslims in Kashmir, bombarding our territory across the Line of Control, threatening our water supplies and creating chaos within our borders through its Kulbashan Yahdev network. The Bajwa-Nawaz regime is calling for talks even though we have only ever known peace from the Hindu when Islam was dominant over them, as was the case for centuries in the time of Islamic rule. And the Bajwa-Nawaz regime is putting its faith in the Hindu State, which oversaw the slaughter and raping of Muslims during the time of partition, the martyrdom of Barbari Mosque in 1992 and open massacre in Gujarat in 2002.
Allah (swt) said,
لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا
“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and the mushrikeen”
(Surah al-Maida 5:82)
The Hindu Mushrikeen are not worthy of the trust of the Muslims for such trust will only expose them to treachery as it always has. They conceal daggers whilst calling for peace and do not miss an opportunity to harm Muslims. Indeed, had they been worthy of trust, why would our forefathers have made huge sacrifices to establish Pakistan as a separate homeland? And why until now are the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir still calling for “Kashmir will be Pakistan.” Indeed, Occupied Kashmir will certainly be lost forever in the maze of negotiations with a treacherous people. And indeed the liberation of Muslim Lands lies alone in the blood and steel of our armed forces, as has been the case throughout the long history of this Ummah of Jihad.
