Co-operation with Russia is Co-operation in Sin and Hostility

Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation released a statement on 24 August 2016 regarding a meeting between the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and his Pakistani counterpart, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Rashad Mahmood, in Moscow. The Russian Chief of the General Staff noted that in 2016, the programme of joint military cooperation activities of Russia and Pakistan was very rich and included “negotiations of General Staffs, joint exercises, exchange of military delegations”. “The sphere of preparation of military professionals has also good prospects,” added Valery Gerasimov. For his part, Rashad Mahmood said that the relationships of the military departments of Russia and Pakistan at the strategic level have made a significant step forward. According to him, the visit of the Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu in Pakistan, which took place on November 2014, became a breakthrough in the relationships between the military departments of both countries and their Armed Forces”. “In the course of the last several years, all our Commanders-in-Chief and Commanders of arms of service have visited your country several times. Now we hope that you will also visit Pakistan,” added Rashad Mahmood. Moreover, this year servicemen of Russia’s Southern MD will for the first time take part in a joint Russian-Pakistani tactical exercise “Friendship – 2016”, which is to take place on the territory of Pakistan. It will be participated by about 200 servicemen from both countries.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.”

(Surah al-Maaidah 5:2)

Yet, the traitors in the military leadership of Pakistan disregard the Hukm of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, invoking His anger, in order to co-operate with an open enemy of Muslims and Islam. It was Russia who openly supported India in the 1971 War, leading to the division of the largest Muslim country at that time, Pakistan, into two. It was Russia which invaded Afghanistan in 1980 and more than five million Afghan Muslims fled their country to escape the brutal oppression of the Russian forces. It was Russia that invaded Afghanistan under the pretext of eliminating so-called “terrorists,” who were sincere Muslims that wanted to end the communist regime and implement Islam. Today it is Russia that is relentlessly bombing the Muslims of Syria so that they abandon the Khilafah project and accept the Syrian tyrant Bashar, who implements Kufr. Russia considers as terrorists those who demand Islam. Extending hands of co-operation towards its means extending support in its quest to extinguish the light of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The Raheel-Nawaz regime knows all too well that Muslims of Pakistan will not accept that their armed forces and intelligence are used to kill the Muslims of Syria, so instead it extends co-operation with one of the front line states in the war to prevent the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Both Russia and America are Kufr colonialist states and Islam demands dealing with them on a war stance, rather than extending alliances with them and only the restoration of the Khilafah will ensure that Muslims suffer no further harm at their hands.

Regime Drowns Pakistan in Debt Trap Despite Its Immense Sources of Wealth

Pakistan paid $5.3 billion in debt servicing during the fiscal year 2015-16, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on 25 August, as compared to $5.417bn in the preceding fiscal year.  Though the total amount was slightly less, the interest paid during 2015-16 rose to $1.339bn while the repayment of principal amount decreased to $3.971bn. The higher interest paid in 2015-16 indicates that the cost of debts has increased. The amount of interest is set to increase further once the country starts paying back the loans taken at high rates. In the last week of September 2015, the government issued a new 10-year bond worth $500 million in the international Eurobond market at a coupon rate of 8.25 per cent. The finance ministry said the bonds were issued for $500m in order to cover the forthcoming maturity in March 2016 of a bond issued in 2006. The 8.25pc interest rate attracted severe criticism and it was said that the base rate in the United States at that time was just 1pc while yield on junk bonds were 6pc. Pakistan’s external debt has increased sharply during the last three years that would cost more to the country struggling to meet the current account deficit, which stood at $2.4bn in 2015-16.

Pakistan is exploited through debt by the colonialists as are many oppressed countries. In each case, the country has paid back the principle many times over, but due to interest, the country is drowned in debt, taking more debt to pay existing debt, in an ever download spiral of misery and destruction. Debt-servicing is now around one third of Pakistan’s entire budget, in the order of billions of US dollars a year, but year after year, decade after decade, Pakistan plunges further into debt. In addition, the loans come with conditions regarding the privitization of valuable assets of the country from the state and public property, so the situation worsens as the treasuries are deprived of substantial revenues. As if this were not all enough, to fill the gap of falling revenues, the colonialists impose new conditions for increasing taxation to the point that business and industry collapses and the people’s backs are broken through hardship.

As for the regime’s claims, that poverty and economic crises would befall the country were it not for this aid, this is a feeble statement. The poverty of the Muslim countries is an artificial poverty caused by the deficiencies of those occupying the seats of governance and the sources of decision makers. The wealth of the Ummah and its public property is squandered on corrupt means, harmful to the country and its people. Instead of public property being distributed to the Ummah which is their right, it settles in the pockets of the corrupt elite and in the internal and external bank accounts, both secretly and publicly. Then the country is tied to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund through America’s poisons called aid. This is the cause of poverty in the Muslim countries, although they are abundant with wealth bestowed by Allah سبحانه وتعالى far-exceeding its need, if only properly placed within the framework as revealed by Allah, the All-Knowing which will only occur under the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.

But seek the abode of the Hereafter in that which Allah has given you, and do not neglect your portion of worldly life, and be kind even as Allah has been kind to you, and seek not corruption in the earth. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who are mischief-makers, corrupted).”

(Al-Qasas 28:77)

US Trap for Pakistan’s Nuclear Capabilities

On 29 August 2016, the Dawn Newspaper reported that “Pakistan has re-launched its campaign to join the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), as its envoy in the US capital approached the White House this week with a request to support its bid. In a statement issued to the media, the Pakistan Embassy in Washington said Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani had also approached the US State Department and Congressional leaders, calling upon them to support Pakistan’s membership to the 48-nation NSG. Ambassador Jilani also held a series of meetings with significant think tanks and opinion-makers in Washington, explaining that Pakistan had a strong case for joining the group.”

Although joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group facilitates access to nuclear materials and accessories which helps in the speed of production and development, etc. but this must be accompanied by awareness and understanding of the schemes of those governing nations, so that joining becomes the way for the joining country to develop its nuclear program and not to be exploited by those countries, particularly the United States.

In the case of Pakistan, the United States supplied Pakistan with conventional weapons to fight the resistance, and not with nuclear support… even the economic and military aid to Pakistan, which increased under the Reagan administration was a way to curb the Pakistani nuclear program. The US Undersecretary of State Department Security Aspects of Science and Technology, James Buckley, said: “rather than carrying out the effective sanctions on Pakistan’s nuclear program imposed by the previous administration, we hope to address through traditional means, to reassure the concerns of a country like Pakistan, so it does not consider building a nuclear capability in the first place.” (Quoted in Akhtar Ali, Pakistan’s Nuclear Dilemma: Energy and Security Dimensions (Karachi: Economic Research Unit, 1984), p. 10), and by conventional means it implies economic and military assistance. And Reuters reported on 20 May 2016, that the US President Barack Obama urged Pakistan in October to avoid the development of its weapons program. And America forces Islamabad on the production of tactical nuclear weapons through the use of locally produced plutonium, this is because the plutonium to weight ratio makes it suitable to reduce nuclear warheads.

In contrast, in the case of India, the United States supports India with conventional and nuclear weapons as well. So, in January 2004, former President Bush and Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee announced the Next Steps in Strategic Partnership (NSSP), which requires the cooperation of both countries in four controversial areas: civilian nuclear energy, and civil space program, and trade in advanced technology, and missile defense. In 2005-2006, New Delhi got a promise from America of free accessibility to the nuclear fuel for its nuclear energy program on weapons, without being committed to any agreement, such as the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), the FMCT Treaty, and without any restrictions on its missile program. In 2007, India achieved the Agreement 123, which allows India and America the peaceful cooperation in nuclear matters. Nuclear deals allow India to enrich uranium domestically for its nuclear program, and this constitutes a flagrant violation of the US commitment to the NPT, which states that it is not allowed “by any means to help, encourage or urge the manufacture of a nuclear weapon to any country except for states allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.” (See SIPRI, The NPT: The Main Political Barrier to Nuclear Weapon Proliferation (London: Taylor and Francis, 1980), Appendix A, p.43)

Alliance with America is the Path to Muslim Subjugation Before the Hindu State

The United States and India on 30 August 2016 reaffirmed their common view on cross-border terror albeit with varying emphasis and even a good word from US Secretary of State John Kerry for Islamabad’s efforts to curb the menace. “The US stands with India on all matters of terrorism, no matter where it comes from,” Mr Kerry said at a joint news conference with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Ms Swaraj on her part ruled out any dialogue with Islamabad, saying “talks with Pakistan will happen only when it takes steps on the Pathankot terror attack” since “terror and talks cannot go hand-in-hand”. Mr Kerry is in Delhi for the second strategic and commercial dialogue between India and the United States.

The US plan for our region is to support Indian regional supremacy, curb Pakistan’s considerable abilities and eradicate the foremost obstacle to the US plan, the Khilafah project. On 9 April 2016, speaking at the Council of Foreign Relations ahead of his three-day visit to India, the US Secretary of Defense, Ash Carter, said, “The US has a ‘whole global agenda’ with India, covering all issues, while the relationship with Pakistan has to do with issues of terrorism and Afghanistan.”

Indeed, Pakistan’s so-called ally, America, has a ‘global agenda’ with India, Pakistan’s traditional enemy. Thus, the US is expanding India’s nuclear capabilities, including the building of new nuclear reactors and the acquisition of sensitive missile technology through the MTCR (Missile Technology Control Regime). The US is promoting Indian global political aspirations, including its inclusion as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, and strengthening its ties with resourceful Muslim countries under American influence, such as Saudi Arabia and Iran. This is aside from the US opening the doors of Afghanistan for an unprecedented Indian presence there, with the US puppet, Ashraf Ghani, shamelessly declaring Afghanistan as a “second home” for Narendra Modi.

Moreover, Pakistan’s so-called ally, America, has been working to remove the Muslims as an obstacle to the rise of the Hindu State. To provide relief for India, Musharraf implemented US demands for the burial of the Kashmir issue and the declaration of those who are fighting for its liberation as “terrorists.” As for now, US demands have ensured that Pakistan does not undertake any befitting response to repeated Indian Line of Control violations, whilst other demands ensure that Pakistan co-operates with India over its concerns regarding “terrorism,” including intelligence sharing. On 7 June 2016, during their two-hour-long meeting, US President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi jointly demanded that Pakistan must “bring the perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai and 2016 Pathankot terrorist attacks to justice.” As for General Raheel, in the era of Kayani, in response to US demands, he personally revised Pakistan Army’s military doctrine, as embodied in its “Green Book,” to remove the Indian centric focus, thereby removing the Muslims as an obstacle to the rise of the Hindu state. And to nurture a defeatist mentality towards India, Pakistan’s officers are now being asked to war-game without the nuclear option.

Our forefathers did not struggle to rid us of the British Raj of colonialist and Hindu oppression, only so that we can plunge head first into an American Raj. It is high time that the Muslims establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, which will end harmful alliances with our enemies. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

O you who believe! Choose not My enemies who are your enemies as friends showing them affection even when they disbelieve in that truth that has come to you.”

(Surah Mumtahina 60:1)

And He said سبحانه وتعالى,

Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.”

(Surah Mumtahina 60:2)
