On 3rd July 2014, Senior US Senators – John McCain and Lindsey Graham met with the presidential candidates Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.

The two US senators had separate meetings with the presidential candidates late Thursday as there has still been no breakthrough to end the deadlock in runoff presidential election.

US ambassador to Afghanistan James Cunningham and top NATO commander in Afghanistan Gen. Joseph Dunford also participated in the meetings with presidential contenders.

Both Ghani’s and Abdullah’s campaign team expressed satisfaction over discussions with the U.S. Senators, stating that being our strategic partner it was very beneficial meeting American senators and other officials.

Comment:

• In the previous presidential elections, the electoral rigging was directly supervised by the U.S. embassy and UNAMA through their foreign advisors and observers. However, this time the same task of rigging elections was orchestrated through the Afghan Election Commission. It is done to prove to the Afghans the inability of handling such processes and to realize to them the importance of the foreign presence in Afghanistan. Moreover, due to the low voter’s turnout U.S. is trying to rescue the juvenile democracy in Afghanistan from shameful collapse.

• This election has yet again proved to every sane person that it’s the U.S. and NATO that are shouldering the dead body of Democracy in Afghanistan along with some puppet rulers. They know that as soon as they withdraw their support from Democracy in Afghanistan it will crumble like a falling wall. Hence every Afghan know that it’s not the will of people that decide the electoral result rather it’s the same crusaders that determines the fate of Afghanistan based on their evil objectives.

• During the 2014 presidential elections the people of Afghanistan were incited on ethnic, linguistic and tribal lines so that to create a rift between the people and force them to see this as a struggle between Pashton, Tajik, Hazara and Uzbek and to make it a struggle of survival between Pashto and Farsi. Knowingly that such bogus ideas can incite people to go back to what happened in 90s and to resort to weapons and violence.

• This election also exposed some so called Ulema and Jihadi leaders and their secular approach to the state affairs. However, some media channels strived to prove them as if they have stood against the seculars in Afghanistan. Yet anyone who has little knowledge of Islam could analyze that no matter how learned you are or how strong you oppose the corrupt government, if you took part in secular democracy you cannot be an ideological Mujahid or Ideological Muslim, who refer all his life affairs, both personal and collective to nothing but Islam.

• On the other hand, we all know that it’s the same U.S. and west that uses these rulers, such as Karzai, Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani as pawns for their ulterior goals and when they are of no use they are discarded in the dustbin of history. Those who have doubt should see the fate of Musharaf, Husni Mubarak, Qadafi etc, who had nothing but only shame and humiliation as their final reward from their master U.S.

• Lastly, it’s the Kufr organizations and the puppet rulers in the Muslim world that are creating artificial problems and are referring it back to the same organizations and countries who have caused these issues, which is like treating a patient with the same virus that has caused the illness.

We as Muslims know and believe that Islam is a comprehensive way of life encompassing all our life affairs, personal, collective and state affairs, and is here to solve the problems of humanity till the Day of Judgment. Yet we have secular elite and some so-called Ulema that are helping west intervene in our affairs and refer it back to the secular capitalist ideology, which indeed is not able to resolve it rather further proliferate the issues. They so called Ulema and the secular Elite in Afghanistan fail to realize that west and its failed secular capitalist Ideology can bring no good but only chaos and miseries to us, as its doing no good to their own people back home rather serving a handful of capitalism elites.
