Obituary of the Umrah Martyrs

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Blessed Land of Palestine mourns the martyrs who passed away to the mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى in the tragic accident, that occurred in the city of Ma’an during their journey to the land of Hijaz to perform Umrah and visit Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and his ﷺ grave. Under this painful circumstance, the Shabab from Hizb ut Tahrir approach the martyrs’ families specifically and the people of Palestine in general with condolence and consolation, on behalf of the honourable victims, asking Allah سبحانه وتعالى to encompass them with His Ample Mercy and Great Forgiveness, to accept them and to let them reside with Him and the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and righteous, and they are the best of companionship. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى exalt your reward and may He سبحانه وتعالى make the funeral splendid and may patience and solace enter your hearts and we only say that which pleases Almighty Allah – to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

We humble ourselves before Almighty and Exalted Allah asking Him to hasten the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood which will free Palestine and abolish the borders and barriers between the people of the united Muslim Ummah, so that the suffering of the pilgrims of Hajj and Umrah and all other travelers passing through the artificial borders, which have separated the united Ummah and have created much suffering and misfortune for Islam’s Ummah in their travels and living, will end. And we ask The Almighty that it will be near – indeed Allah is Able of this.

“We will certainly test you with some fear and hunger, and some loss of possessions and lives and crops. But give good news to the steadfast. Those who, when a calamity afflicts them, say, “To God we belong, and to Him we will return.” Upon these are blessings and mercy from their Lord. These are the guided ones”

(Al-Baqarah: 155-157)
