“To Allah we belong and unto Him we shall return”

Raja’i Joulaq, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him, was one of the best members of Hizb ut Tahrir as he walked sincerely on the path of resuming the Islamic way of life and re-establishing the rule of Allah سبحانه وتعالى on Earth. Raja’i, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him, with his humble personality and concern over the problems of the Muslims, joined the Da’wah towards Islam and worked within the ranks of Hizb ut Tahrir ten years ago.
He gave the oath one week prior to his death, and made an oath to Allah سبحانه وتعالى to be a faithful guardian for Islam, and he fulfilled his oath and remained steadfast to Islam until his last breath.
We, in Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Turkey, ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to have mercy on the deceased, and to grant patience, solace and wellness to his family.
Oh kind brother! May Allah سبحانه وتعالى have utmost mercy on you and allow you to reach His Heaven, and allow you to drink from its rivers! Although you died before having the pledge of allegiance on your neck in accordance with the Hadith of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم:
«ومن مات وليس في عنقه بيعة مات ميتة جاهلية»
“Whoever dies without being bound by the oath of allegiance (bay’ah), dies the death of the time of ignorance (Jahiliyah).” (Narrated by Muslim)
However, you were working on appointing a Khaleefah, whom you will be bound with in Bay’ah, and may Allah سبحانه وتعالى make you amongst the accepted ones. We indeed bear witness on your courageous work for the sake of establishing the Khilafah and your sacrifices in the cause of the Islamic Da’wah, and we ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to make you one of the successful and promised ones.
مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا
“Among the believers there are men who have been true to the contract they made with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pact by death and some are still waiting to do so, not having changed in any way at all.”
(Al-Ahzab, 33:23)
