Obituary of a Dawah Carrier in Iraq: Eid Al-Husseini

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Iraq mourns to the people of Iraq specifically and to the Muslims in general the death of one of its persevering Shabab – of high resolve and dedication:

Eid Dhaif Al-Khazami Al-Nuaimi Al-Husseini

He passed away Monday the 22nd of the holy Ramadan 1437 AH corresponding to 27/06/2016 CE, was more than 70 years old after a long period of illness, he withstood with patience.

The deceased came to know Hizb ut Tahrir and joined its halaqat at a young age, and he received the honour of studying under Sheikh Abdul Qadeem Zalloum, may Allah’s mercy be upon him. He was an example of patience and persistence carrying the dawah since the 60’s of the last century. He was chosen to take responsibility of the Hizb in Iraq at the time when the Shabab were exposed to a raid of arrests and executions in the beginning of the 80’s.

The deceased chose dawah with the Hizb before all the temptations presented to him, he was never reluctant for dawah using his journalistic pen, his poetry and the quill he used to translate the concepts of Islam in the light of Hizb ut Tahrir’s view and to clarify the ideas of communism, capitalism and secularism. Thereby the deceased used all the skills Allah سبحانه وتعالى bestowed upon him for the cause of dawah, illness did not hinder him from the dawah – even when he was half paralyzed, throughout his final days when the illness intensified – as he would faint and upon awakening, he would ask about the prayer. He advised people around him to carry the dawah and the steadfastness over it. This is how we remember him and witnessed him. We do not commend anyone to Allah, and we only say that which pleases our Lord: Your departure (Dear Abu Omar) saddens us, we surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return, there is no power but from Allah Taala.
