O Blessed Medina!!! O blessed city that welcomed with its arms and gave its patronage to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ! Do you remember how the Muslims suffered from persecution and were forced to leave Mecca, where our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born, in the vicinity of which it began the sending of the Revelation from the Supreme Creator of the Lord of the Worlds – Allah! The city – in which for the first time in the history of mankind the Noble Quran was read to people! The city – in which the first blood of Muslims was poured! The city – most of whose inhabitants were proud and suffered a loss!
O Blessed Medina! You remember those joyful days of relief for the Muslims, when Allah Almighty instilled goodness in the hearts of your inhabitants and you were transformed, and became great, and strengthened by Islam. Since then, you have become a fulcrum point for the spread of Islam to the whole world.
O Blessed Medina! You became the city in which the righteous Khalifas (caliphs) ruled. Strictly following the precepts of Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet, these rulers brought the light of Islam to many lands. This time our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called: «الخلافة على منهاج النبوة» “…the period of the Khilafah based on the method of Prophethood…”
After the reign of the righteous Khulifaa (caliphs), in spite of their shortcomings, the reign of the Khilafah remained and continued the spread of Islam in all directions around the world. The Khilafah was the home of the Muslims, where Sharia was practiced, where slaves became free and people worshiped Allah, where science and knowledge developed for the benefit of all people. This continued until recently, when the disbelieving colonizers succeeded in destroying the Khilafah and Muslims were in a very deplorable situation.
O Khilafah! When you were, Muslims had a defender and a home, the Muslims did not wander around the world like the Jews – humiliated and defenseless. Today, when you are not there, everyone is trying to insult Islam and kill Muslims. Even our rulers hate Islam and persecute us to please their masters from the West and the East.
O Khilafah! When you were, you did not let the liars and cowards distort the Quran. Today the ignorant, liars and cowards climb the minbar of the Prophet ﷺ and distort the Quran for the sake of the powerful, rulers, as it happens in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Most recently, Anvar kory Tursunov, a chief Imam of Tashkent, speaking at the Minor Mosque on the Friday’s sermon of March 16 said: “There is not a single verse in the Quran that calls for the establishment of the Khilafah.”
O Khilafah! When you were at the head of the rule over the Muslims, there were no disbelievers, no women, no lecherous people who ruled secularism, as all Muslim rulers do today.
O Khilafah! When you were, not one of the rulers of Muslims didn’t dare to be friends with the disbelieving colonizers, as the Turkish President Erdogan does today. Erdogan bowed to his idol Mustafa Kamal, who did his best to destroy the Khilafah. Mustafa Kamal made Ankara his hometown, it was the place where distemper, intrigues and plots span against the Khilafah. On April 3 of this year, Erdogan met his friends in arms in Ankara, against Islam and Muslims – Russian President Putin and Iranian President Rouhani.
O Khilafah! When you were, none of the disbelievers could not kill the Muslim children with impunity. Today, disbelieving colonizers kill children in Syria with chemical weapons, drop bombs at the religious school of the Hafiz Quran in Afghanistan, kill massively children in Burma! And all this happens under the tacit consent of the rulers of Muslims.
O Khilafah! When you were, the Muslims opened Jerusalem. The city from where our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ rose into the heaven, and the place that was the first Qiblah of Muslims! Today, when you are not there, unfaithful Jews seized the first Qiblah of Muslims and methodically exterminated the Muslims of Palestine capturing all the lands in the region.
O Khilafah! Once in the abyss of many troubles and problems, Muslims almost forgot about you, and sought solutions to their problems in a different notion not in Islam and the Khilafah. But Allah Almighty bestowed blessing upon one of the sons of Muhammad’s Ummah ﷺ who reported this blessing and solving all the problems of Muslims to his friends. These friends picked up this decision, and like the Sahaba, following in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, formed a group and began to call for the revival of the second righteous Khilafah based on the method of Prophethood, that was promised by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:«ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ ثُمَّ سَكَتَ» “… Then comes the period of despotic rule that will last as long as Allah wills. Then, when Allah wills, it will cease. Then again the period of the Khilafah, based on the method of Prophethood, will come. After which he fell silent.”
O Khilafah! With the revival of the call of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, millions of Muslims heard and remembered you! And now millions of Muslims around the world are eagerly awaiting your return, moreover, they are making all their efforts for your return.
O Khilafah! We pray Allah for your soon return! We pray Allah to restore the second righteous state of the Khilafah by the method of Prophethood! And may Allah help us!
