New Massacre Revives the Massacre of Port Said

Bloody events took place in Egypt on Sunday, 08/02/2015 CE, in front of Air Defense Stadium as a result of the clashes between police and Zamalek club fans, which resulted in dozens of deaths, bringing the number of victims according to the recent estimates to 40 victims. These events coincided with the third anniversary of the incident known in the media as the “Port Said massacre”, which occurred on 1st February 2012, and claimed the lives of 72 people, which rose at that time large protests against the Egyptian police.

It is strange that the Attorney General has issued an order to prosecute the leaders of Ultras Zamalek, who some of them may be among the victims, while ignoring directing any accusation to the police for the excessive use of force. Even stranger is what was published by the Egyptian police on its front page, as it wrote the following: “… Do you want to bully and enter the league matches without tickets … No, Habibi it happened and now it’s over” as if entering a football match is an unforgivable crime where the perpetrators deserve murder. And the strangest thing is that the football match continued as if nothing had happened, even though everyone knew what had happened. How inconceivable is to act with all this cruelty in order to save what they called the State’s prestige, as if we were in a bone-crushing battle; with whom? and for what? With young youth excited for a football match! Is the State’s prestige preserved by the killing and injuring of our own children?!

It seems that shedding blood has become the country’s feature for the current phase, and that the current regime does not care about the anger on the street and imagines that it is able to suppress its voice. If the current regime had self-respect, it would not have kept its Interior Minister in office after the incident even for one hour. Rather, it is unacceptable that he and whoever was responsible for safeguarding that match, was not put on trial and held accountable for what their hands committed. But it seems that everyone is involved and behaves as if they are in one boat; either they alone survive or all drown.

“That if someone kills another person – unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth – it is as if he had murdered all mankind.”

(Al-Ma’ida: 32)

And the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

«سِبَابُ المُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ، وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ»

“Insulting a Muslim is a crime and fighting him is Kufr”.

He also said:

«لزوال الدنيا جميعا أهون على الله من دم مؤمن»

“The wiping away of the World means less to Allah than a Believer to be killed unjustly”.

And he صلى الله عليه وسلم said

«من أعان على قتل مسلم بشطر كلمة لقي الله يوم القيامة مكتوب في جبهته، آيس من رحمة الله»

“Whoever helps to kill a believer, even with half a world, he will meet Allah سبحانه وتعالى with (the words) written between his eyes, ‘He has no hope of the mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى'”.

He صلى الله عليه وسلم also said at the farewell pilgrimage “Hajjat-al-Wada”: «أتدرون أي يوم أعظم حرمة؟»، “Which day do you think is most sacred?”. We said: “This day of ours”. “Which town (country) do you think is the most sacred?”. We said: “This city of ours (Mecca)”. “So Which month (of the year) is most sacred?”. We said: “This month of ours”.The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: «فإن دماءكم وأموالكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا في شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا» “Then your blood and your property are as sacred as this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this town of yours”.

So how can a Muslim after hearing the word of Allah and the Hadith of His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم trivialize the blood of the people in this way and without right, and whatever the justifications and flinging charges here and there?! As there is no doubt that protecting and securing matches is the responsibility of the police.

What we must all realize is that there is no security, no safety and no honorable, safe and tranquil life under such a system, and that safety, security and dignified life can only be achieved under the rule of Islam in its state; the Khilafah Rashidah State on the method of the Prophethood that will govern the affairs of all its subjects with justice and will avenge from the criminals, secure the frightened and provide tranquility for all, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims.

The only opportunity for those in charge of the current regime, to gather the people around them and be saved from the punishment of Almighty Al-Haq on the Day of Resurrection; the Day when there will not benefit them wealth nor authority, is freeing itself from the subordination to America, and to align with their people and their Ummah by supporting the sincere workers for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah state on the method of the Prophethood to apply the law of Allah immediately which will stop the blood shedding of the people in Egypt. And we say to them what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

«أول ما يقضى بين الناس يوم القيامة في الدماء»

“The first matter concerning which people will be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be the matter of blood”.

“And call them to a halt. They will be asked”
