The authorities in Malaysia have raided the office of a state investment fund as part of investigations into claims of corruption involving Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Police spent hours checking documents at the 1MDB fund’s Kuala Lumpur office.
Mr Najib denies allegations that nearly $700m were transferred to his personal bank accounts from the fund.
On Tuesday, officials froze six accounts as part of the inquiry. The account holders were not identified. (Source : BBC)
Comment:
The unknown source of $700 million that has been allegedly transferred to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is questionable. It was transferred from a private bank in Switzerland and an offshore financial institution located at the British Virgin Islands. Malaysian opposition groups claimed that the money was transferred on March 2013, was before the general election in May 2013.
It will not be a surprise as what the opposition has claimed. Such a big amount of money for funding, lending or sponsorship should only be sourced from either of the state, big companies or billionaires. Furthermore nothing is strange if the money is funded by the global power to keep the influence in the region.
Malaysia as a former British colony declared as independent state in 1957. However all the ruling systems mainly are still based on British laws. The government agencies and elites were sent and trained in Britain. The current ruling government led by Najib Razak’s party controlled the government since after the independent.
Malaysia is surrounded by U.S’s proxy countries is always the target for U.S in order to expand its influence and existence in the southeast Asia region. The Malaysia opposition party led by Anwar Ibrahim always seen to receive support from the U.S. to achieve this objective. Besides, China which has a close relationship with Malaysia is aggressively expanding its territory in South East Asia will be a major threat for U.S.
In many Muslim countries though the neocolonism has ended, the colonists still want to keep the country leader as their puppet to remain control in power. The colonist country will use whatever means by either military power assistance, political funding or sponsorship, media campaign, coupe de tat and others to keep this objective. This had happened in Libya and can been seen in Africa or Middle East, the fight between U.S., British and France.
The issue of Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak is similar as what happening to other countries leader in Muslim countries. This is not the individual issue of Najib Razak, not the issue of corruption of Malaysia government’s investment company alone but it is much bigger than that. It is the fundamental systemic issue that has chained the country and its leader to keep the secular system, live in capitalist system and be under the control of colonial power or otherwise he will be removed.
It is the fight with between super powers to keep control of the region especially in ASIA. It is between British, U.S and China.
To the Muslim leaders, stop being the servant to the Kuffar but serve Allah to implement Islam by establishing Islamic State, Khilafah. You can run away from the world court but you will be questioned in the Judgment Day. Remember that Allah the Almighty power can give and take the power from you,
