America and Russia on Saturday announced a breakthrough agreement on Syria that foresees a nationwide cease-fire starting on Monday, followed a week later by an unexpected new military partnership targeting the Islamic State and al-Qaida as well as the establishment of new limits on President Bashar Assad’s forces. (Source: Associated Press)

Comment:

The cease-fire agreement between the US and Russia does not aim to protect the Muslims in Syria rather it is a military partnership to protect their interest on Muslim land. At the same time, allowing Assad forces to grip more power to control the state. This is as Allah has mentioned in Al-Quran that the Kuffar are helpers to one another.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.”

(Al-Maidah 5:51)

What a significant message from the Kuffar to the Muslim world that they can unite just before Eid Al-Adha, in the month of Dhul Hijjah where many Muslims around the world gather in Mecca to perform the Hajj.

Last week chlorine gas attacks on Al Sukkari village of Aleppo brought more death and casualties. Approximately 100,000 civilians have died including children since the start of the war. Assad regime, U.S. and Russia military airstrikes continue bombing the city and people with no permanent solution. The death toll contributed by the allies, the US and Russian, exceed far more than the Sept 11 incident.

It is believed that it was a hard decision for US to work with Russia or otherwise. However this is the important message given to the Muslim world.

The recent cooperation between US, Russia and Turkey on Syria, will bring nothing of benefit or protection for the Muslims in Syria. They are displaced and have become refugees not receiving much help from European countries either. Each of these countries protect their own security and self interest in the Middle East.

During the month of Dhul Hijjah, all Muslims around the world regardless of race and nationals are united to perform Hajj in Mecca showing our obedient to one god and one Qibla. We are asked to unite as Muslim, let the same we unite to protect Muslim brothers and our land against the Kuffar. Don’t let the Kuffar continue to shame us while we know we can unite in the name of the Aqeedah of Islam and the call from Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
