EU Emergency Summit on the Migration Crisis: Tightening the Devil’s Triangle upon Migrants

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has called an extraordinary meeting of several European leaders on Sunday to tackle the migrant crisis in the western Balkans as thousands trying to reach Germany are trapped in deteriorating conditions. (Agencies)

Comment:

The statement from Juncker’s office said the extraordinary meeting of heads of state and government is necessary because of “the unfolding emergency in the countries along the Western Balkans migratory route.” “The objective of the meeting will be to agree on common operational conclusions which could be immediately implemented,” the EU Commission statement said.

Until today deals, summits, agreements, talks and meetings have not eased the situation of refugees nor contribute to reducing migration. European countries seek to save face pretending to have done their best in letting refugees enter their countries, while thousands of refugees suffer deadly conditions on their routes. Greece, as the first step to Europe, is desperate under the bulks of refugees entering its soils daily. Hungary erected fences protected by razor wire. Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia only seek to get rid of the migrants as soon as possible – or offer the alternative to convert to Christianity. Their main deed is holding the migrants at the borders in the cold by police and military forces and only letting through just as many as the bordering country allows in. Austria’s camps are already overcrowded; migrants are forced to camp out in cold and rain. France’s Calais camp is called a jungle-camp. Germany feels already overburdened, additionally has to deal with increasing xenophobia, and thus urges Turkey to stop the influx to Europe on its soils.

German Chancellor Merkel visited Turkey just less than a week before, urging Turkey on a greater cooperation on the migrant crisis. The result was a number of new agreements, like the European Commission to give Turkey up to 3 billion euros to step up coast guard patrols, arrest more smugglers and build six additional reception centres along its southern border with Syria. In return, Turkey will receive visa-free travel to Europe for its 75 million citizens and the reopening of its long-stalled EU accession talks.

Not a single approach has ever addressed the root cause of this mass migration crisis which is a new age Migration of the Peoples. How should it be otherwise? Addressing the root cause of the problem would be confessing the evil role of the capitalist powers in plunging the Muslim lands and all of the third world countries into chaos, and thus relinquishing from the capitalist motives and aims in the Muslims lands, and in particular Syria. And Turkey is not to be excluded in this game. Firstly because Turkey’s basic aim is to fulfil the needs of the USA in its Middle East and Syria politics. Secondly, it is even unable to fix the problems within its own soils, which are shattered by increasing terrorist attacks and nationalist conflicts.

In order to keep it short: This summit is not going to change anything, neither for the European countries themselves, but especially not for the migrants. The outcome of any summit, agreement or attempt will only tighten the devil’s triangle upon the migrants which is maintaining capitalism, saving capitalist lands through wars, oppression and exploitation and suppressing Islam. This is because they are not going to change their ideology; but the Muslim lands, with Turkey in the forefront, should see clearly that every dirty plan the capitalist secular Kuffar have followed since hundreds of years until now, has ended in a disaster for themselves – provided that the Muslims held tight to their own ideology and its laws and methods.

Therefore, returning to its own Islamic ideology, abstaining from the capitalist ideology, thus freeing from submissiveness, servility and obedience to the evil capitalist masters and reuniting again under the banner of Islam, will bring back the power to the Islamic Ummah in order to firstly remove the instigators from the Muslims lands and thus to end wars, oppression and exploitation; and secondly to provide the Ummah with all the necessary needs to live dignified lives in their own homelands.
