After UN envoy Staffan de Mistura failed in his plan to freeze the fighting which received a wide-ranging and miserable rejection, new attempts have been made by holding a truce with the criminal regime to achieve what the international envoy failed to achieve, and to divert the revolution from the aim of overthrowing the regime and establishing the rule of Allah سبحانه وتعالى on earth to sitting with him at the same table to negotiate his crimes committed against Muslims, under the pretext of protecting the blood of Muslims. As a result, some combat zones will be frozen, especially in the rural west of the capital Damascus on which the fighting factions are supposed to increase in pressure not to interfere in any truce whatever the circumstances.

The gravity of the matter is that this truce came at a time when international public opinion has been shifted from the regime’s crimes to the war against terrorism, and the plan of the international envoy de Mistura about the four groups has been worked upon; which will look at issues including safety and protection, and the war against terrorism.

The truce is in fact a victory for the regime, backed by the Kaffir West through the surrender of Zabadani, for which blood is supposed to be spilled for the sake of liberation. It should not be handed over in order to stop the blood that is stained with humiliation, rather, bloodshed will be stopped by removing the tyrant regime and establishing the rule of Islam in the land.

The convening of a truce with the regime leaves the door open for other truces in other areas; and therefore the revolution will be eliminated and aborted after five years of sacrifices. One area after the other will be handed over to a criminal regime that does not regard pact nor honor in respect of Muslims, nor does it preserve a covenant. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions suffered of a suffocating siege in the valleys of Abu Talib; that the cries of their children were heard from behind the valleys. Yet he ﷺ did not compromise nor negotiate; but urged his companions to be patient and continued his Da’wah until he established the Islamic State in Al-Madinah.

O Muslims in the Sacred Land of Ash-Sham:

Holding negotiations and truces will not make the regime fall, and will not even weaken it. Indeed, the radical solution to the suffering of Muslims in the blessed land of Ash-Sham is by unifying the ranks, and uniting over a clear political plan that pleases Allah The Almighty; and aiming at the snake’s head to chop it off, not by contracting truces with the criminal regime which will prolong its age thereby prolonging the suffering of Muslims. The barrels which will be prevented by the truce in Zabadani will be used in other areas to inflict in more martyrs and injuries. As for the detainees who will be freed from the prisons of the tyrant of Al-Shaam, the criminal regime can arrest a greater number of them in a short period, these partial solutions neither sustain nor satisfy hunger. We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Syria call on all factions to reject any truce with the criminals, otherwise they would turn into guards of the system protecting its regions and prevent any attempt of liberation, under the pretext of not breaking the truce, and you have what happened in Palestine as a lesson, where the Palestinian factions turned into guards for the security of the Jewish entity.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:

فَلَا تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوا إِلَى السَّلْمِ وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَاللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَنْ يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ

“Do not become faint-hearted and call for peace when you are uppermost and Allah is with you – He would never cheat you of your deeds.”

(Muhammad: 35)
