On December 15, 2015, Saudi Arabia announced in Riyadh the formation of a new military coalition of 35 states including Turkey to fight against “terror”. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the following about Turkey’s participation in this formation titled “Islamic Alliance Against Terror”, “Saudi Arabia invited us and we accepted. Turkey is ready to contribute by all its means to all gatherings that aim to fight terrorism, no matter where or by whom they are organised.”

We as Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey share our explanations about this Alliance and Turkey’s participation in this Alliance with the public and remind the current leaders of the following:

• First of all, it is commonly known that the Saudi family who is spearheading this Alliance is America’s loyal agent. Therefore, it is not the Saudi family who established this coalition, but the USA itself. This is because the infidel USA seeks to hide its invasive and colonialist face from the Ummah by arranging the foundation of this Alliance, and it personally defined its name and defined which states to join it. The USA, terrorizing every soil in the Islamic world for years, blatantly promotes equating Islam with terror and encourages the puppet rulers of the Muslim lands to fight it.
• The Saudi regime announced the aim of this Alliance as one “to protect the Islamic Ummah from the evils of all terrorist groups and organizations, whatever their sect and name is”. Those who do evil to the Ummah are kuffar and the oppressors. And fitna that calls for nationalist and sectarian separatism belongs to them. If there is any coalition to be set up, then it should be one against colonialists who do the greatest evils to the Muslims. Therefore; instead of accepting Omaba’s loyal servant’s, the Saudi King, invitation; Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu should respond to the calls of the oppressed, butchered by the infidel USA and the crusaders and invite all Muslim countries to unity against the Kufr, and pioneer this. This unity and synergy can only be realized through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.
• The Saudi minister revealed the Alliance’s military purpose through this statement: “There will be international coordination on operations in Syria and Iraq; we can’t undertake these operations without coordinating with legitimacy in this place and the international community.” These words make clear that the main goal of the Alliance is to be lifeblood for the Western powers bombing the people Syria and Iraq and providing them support. The USA and the West – both as it is costly and as they are cowards – want the Muslim countries’ soldiers to do the slaughter which their own armies are not able to do. Thus, they aim to hide their blood thirst and bestiality. What kind of impudence?

O Prime Minister! Will you accept the Saudi King’s invitation and thus obey America? Will you attack your brothers? Or will you obey your Lord and protect the Muslims? The Muslims are your friends, but the colonial Kuffar are your enemies.  The USA, Russia, England, Europe and China… And the Jewish entity is at your doorstep!

O Muslim Armies! It is your turn now! This is not the time to protect the invaders, colonialists, their established orders and their regimes! This is the time to protect Islam and the Muslims. The honourable women of Palestine are waiting for your help! Syria’s orphans are waiting for you! Will you not fight on the way of Allah in order to save our sanctities and the oppressed?
