Narrated by Ziyad ibn Hudayr: Umar said to me: “Do you know what demolishes Islam?” I said: “No.” Whereupon he said: “It is the slip of a scholar and the dispute of the hypocrite by the Book, and the commands of the misguided rulers which demolish it.”
