The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

.« من سأل الله الشهادة بصدق بلغه الله منازل الشهداء وإن مات على فراشه »

“He who asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will raise him to the high status of the martyrs, even if he dies on his bed.”
