Beji Caid Essebsi, leader of Al Sibsi, announced after the results of the first round of presidential elections that most of the voters who voted for his political opponents are “extremists and terrorists”, and by that accusing hundreds of thousands from the people of Tunisia with extremism and terrorism to spite and slander them just because they didn’t vote for him in the elections, following the example of what George Bush Junior said: “Whoever is not with me is then with terrorism”!! What is worse is that this announcement was made via a French media channel, which was seen by some as a “cry for help from the foreigner” against local opponents and a message to them that he is capable of the authorization and protecting the “Western” project in Tunisia. This announcement came in time with the request of the United States of America for facilities from Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco in order to intervene in Libya under the pretext of “fighting terrorism”, and the danger of this doesn’t hide from the country or the people. In addition, what does it mean to relate all these repetitive and serious warnings from entering weaponry into the country with the angry movement of the people in the South as a response to the announcements which aim to plant “Fitna” amongst the people of one country based on a terrifying regional background (North-South).
The course of this crisis and the realities of this Fitna are happening in the complete silence of the government and a surprising and shocking announcement of the Internal Minister where he announced for the first time that the Gulf sides are the financers and facilitators of terrorism in Tunisia without taking any procedure. We are bewildered from the silence of the government regarding the creation of “Fitna” and hitting “the unity of the people of the country” under the pretext of “extremism and terrorism” and regional strives in political clashes, and we are bewildered from its inability of disclosing the complete truth about terrorism and uprooting the conspirators internally and externally. We hold it responsible for the security of the people and their blood, and we consider the silence of the government on those presented is the first “Fitna”. As such, we invite everybody up to the highest level of responsibility and trusteeship to hold on tight to the Rope of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and stand in one line against those who plant the sayings of Fitna and its actions, and against those who strive to rip this good country and its platoon. This is because the original and the duty is to unite it with the rest of the Islamic countries under the state of the Khilafah Al Rashidah upon the method of Prophethood, and no more division.
The Prophet of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
«كُلُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَامٌ دَمُهُ وَمالُهُ وعِرْضُه»
“Every Muslim is prohibited from another Muslim in his blood, money, and dignity.”
